Warley Model Railway Club RU-vid channel was formed to share the activities we undertake at the club on a weekly basis, share knowledge with tutorials, and updates on the many layouts under construction in the club rooms, we will also share information about upcoming exhibitions and open days.

I have only just found this video. John was a great bloke and I do remember hearing of his passing a few years ago. I remember chatting to him at numerous shows at NEC. One year we were talking with him and he mentioned that we often went to Southern California to see his son. It just happened that we were going to be in the same place when he would be there , so we arranged to meet up in a bar close to Santa Barbara station. The next time that we saw him, his health had deteriorated but he was still jovial going around in his mobility scooter at the NEC.
A nice couple of videos, could do with more close ups, but a useful resource nevertheless, well done!✌️👍💜 For beginners they might find it easier to cut sprues/plastic parts with Xuron side cutters (cut small parts into a plastic bag so they dont zoom across the room to be swallowed by the carpet monster😮😅) and etched parts with Xuron etch cutters or a half decent set of toe-nails sissors. I hope that helps, Ive used Xuron cutters for several decades for this purpose and such only requires a light clean up/filing after cutting, it speeds up the build and they are easy and accurate to use✌️👍💜😊
Great video I bet that was great to see the flying Scotsman my son would love to see the real one I have just got him the horny version of that exact train he love trains
I was on the XC cardiff train that passed a few mins prior to the flying scotsman's return journey through bromsgrove. Definitely wondered why bromsgrove and barnt green was packed and i found out why shortly after bromsgrove 😅
Thank you for the video, will look out for the Sunday one. Sadly the train issues last year and work commitments this year have prevented me getting down but this video makes up for it

Really enjoyed this year's show. The quality of the modelling was outstanding and it felt like there was a bit more space to move around than previous years although some extra seating would be welcome if at all possible. Congrats to all concerned

There are Gaugemaster electomagnets at the uncoupling places. These are 90% below baseboard with just the end o f the electomagnet rod through the baseboard and level with the sleepers. Mostly Peco wagons are used where uncoupling is required. There is a hole drilled in the coupling shank and a bend staple is glued in. This is attracted to the magnet which causes the coupling to lift.
I really want to run some trains on that layout, looks great for a Cornish riviera or an express- well done on that Brighton bell too, looks like it runs a treat!

Good to see this video. Lots of progress on Ellerton Road. Very good layout with friendly people operating it. The less said about the East Anglian s7 lot the better.
