Had the exact same problem with mine. Exact same type of jam too. I don’t use a suppressor either. I had to actually contact the company and send it in to them for repairs..... it’s a shame.
I believe because you're running the gun suppressed it's having a problem with either too much gas or not enough gas you need an adjustable gas block to fix the problem if not take the suppressor off and see if that fixes your problem
Well im still in contact with them as it has jammed more than once since this video. IM STILL TRYING TO GET THEM TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE PROBLEM. having. Some trouble as it is an sbr. Im leaning towards shitty mags and the fact that they should have had a propriotory mag for the gun and or metal mags!! Still not happy. im not sure if its the shitty pro mags or the lower reciever or a combo of both!. Sad to say i would never reccomend the gun they way the have it setup (cant even run the fn mags in it they jam worse than pro mag)... final solution still awates
@@Jstew181 thanks. I'm also having issues with my banshee mk47 jamming. I sent it off and they updated the mag feed supposedly. It helped a little but I still get way too many ftf issues.
Heru Ogun glad to know im not the only one. Starting to seem like more and more people are having these issues. i think/hope they are starting to get hounded by people because of the ftf issues. Hopefully so and hopefully cmmg will do somerhin about the problem.. have you talked to brian the tech support manager? He is helpful and friendly but yea to have come up with a solution. I always tell tech support about other people messeging me with the same issue. Bring it to their attention
Found out it was strictly the fn mags that will not function properly. Only promags which im not a fan of but seems to work well with pro mags. Been in contsct with cmmg ans theynare working to solve the preoblem so it will run fn mags also as it should
No actually iv Been in contact with cmmg for the past 2 months. they are having other people saying they are having problems as well. From the fn magazines in particular. Cmmg has now recognized this and told me they are in contact with fn and are working on a permanent solution to this problem. From experience the gun will only run promag magazines, not cool
Not yet. Im waiting to hear from tech support at cmmg for a second time. Iv been in contact with them they say that the techs are looking at it. Do you have this rifle? Or one similar?
@@Jstew181 i wish, i was gonna say i would just keep loading 1 round in mag and shooting, see if it does the bolt hold open and extracts. Thats kind of to see if its short stroking. Im not a gun smith or anything. Id try to figure out if its a cycle/extract issue vs a feeding/magazine issue.
shotgun166 the only reason i didnt try the one round thing was just for “consistancy” becuase it wasnt exaclty consistant with what was going wrong.. Im hoping they will send it back with no issues at all. Or work with me on getting it chambered in a different caliber. Because cmmg explaijed to me they had to modify that lower reciever for the 5.7 rounds in all those guns becuause they wanted it to be “universal” with fn mags and pro mag and etc (promag was not good) and i think maybe that is where they went wrong. Idk ill keep updating when i know somethin.
They finally got back with me and they came to the conclusion that its “my fn magazines. Not sure how much thruth there is to that. they reiterated that the pro mag magazines ran better than the fn, but they say they ran different fn mags and they ran fine. “So must be my fn mags” just shouting oit with an update, will See how much truth there is to all this haha
T3K1R YES! I have also sent all these videos to cmmg as well. I have sent the gun in once and im getting ready to send it back a second time!. Possibly for a refund this time idk but im pretty upset. I sent it in after it was acting up like what you saw in all the videos. Cmmg claimed they honed the barrel, and that fixed the problem. So they sent me a video of them putting 2 magazines through it claiming it was shooting with no issue(which wasnt reassuring). i got it back this past monday, shot it tuesday and it jammed on the second round! Tried multiple fn mags and a promag (promag was worse) and it jamed almost every time again. So i put all magazines in my fn 5.7 pistol and they shot great. (Except pro mag which is exepected being in the fn 5.7). So i feel quite confident it has nothing to do with the ammo or mags. I would contact them right away so they know more people are having the same issues!! NOT WHAT YOU EXPECT FROM A RIFLE THAT PRICE 5.7 ROUND OR NOT
Yes I have sent it back twice and am trying for a 3rd time now because I too got all the same info you just told me down to the tee and I’m not sure it was my rifle either so I don’t know exactly maybe if they showed me serial number before firing.
T3K1R WOW! Im kinda ironic and shocking to hear. I would hope a company like that would NOT be treating us that way. i know that tech suppot will be hearing about this forsure!. We need to bring some light to this situation! 👍🏻

T3K1R Sounds good! I was shooting federal american eagle myself. Im glad to hear from you to know you have tried 3 times thats crazy. Did they give u anymore feedback the second time on what might been wrong?
