GOALS!! I currently have 11 dogs, most of which are husky and aussie mixes. I also have two litters otw. I'm teaching my two alphas to mush so eventually I can build up to taking them all out like this!

Just seen this video for the first time. Excellent! But...question.... Where do they do their business? And do you need to clean up after them every day? Where do they sleep exactly? What's your daily routine with them and is that that same throughout the winter months as well?? Thank you!
Good Question! Yes - clean up everyday! Its essential for dogs and most animals. They "do their business" all over the 140 acre farm -and when they can't be properly supervised with wildlife, etc -they have 8 large -1/2 acre and more pens for the sub packs where they can play and roam - so these have to be searched and cleaned Daily routine? Depends on season -warm months there is swimming and running - going to town on errands for those that enjoy car/truck riding - inside cuddles with guests, staff and family - custom made for each dog food -based on a raw diet - -Winter is basically minus the swimming but for those that are champions it includes sprint racing which they love Hope this helps!

What a setup you guys have!! Okay, someone has to ask this question! What are the NORMAL calls? I've been using HEE and HAW and my own HAUTSA and WHOA. Is it GHEE? For right? As long as I am close because I've been training right and left and stop and go....when with others it would be nice to be kinda close? Less confusion for the dogs?
Isn’t the wheeled cart a little heavy? Like two more dogs worth heavy? Lol How do you what the weight limit is for them with the big cart? Or any cart I guess.
Great experience! We were guests of Jim and the pooches last Sunday and it was a blast. No wheels though, we sledded through the snow! Highly recommend this experience,...nothing like it!
We highly recommend this place. The owners Jim and Deborah were sooooo nice as well as all their workers. The dogs were the best. We had two sleds and had such a blast. We highly recommend staying on-site for at least 2 nights since it furthers the experience with the dogs. We stayed for 4 nights. They came to our cabin to visit everyday and even stayed over for two nights. We can hear them howling in the evening (not late at all) and in the morning (not too early) and barking when they are getting ready to be fed or ready to take a group out to run. They are well taken care of and very happy. Very sweet dogs. We went between Christmas and New Years Eve and plan on coming back in the summer some day. We all thoroughly enjoyed this place! You get to feed them, harness them, etc. Check out our videos. Such an experience we will not forget!

Thank you! Our sleds are built in Germany - they are high performance with a great chassis and braking system for safety of the passengers and dogs! Expensive and difficult to jump through the hoops of the importation, pick up at the harbor port - but really worth it!

We try to give our International Champion Sprint dog Sledding canines the love and joy - - life enrichment that they deserve and they have shown internationally that LOVE works! - The UN-Chained Gang demonstrate that the old way of chaining and keeping sled dogs is "easier" but not as effective as a good life!
Sue Sternberg and Leslie Burgard DeFusco CPDT are incredible, international dog trainers - -the UN-Chained Gang are an incredible, North American pack of dogs that are five generations of human and pack member raised in litters for about 2 - 3 years before they join one of the sub packs - -and rescues join in as well - - they demonstrate what real dog consciousness is - - with Sue and Leslie's intense training interns learn in depth about real canine consciousness -- - If you can study with Sue and Leslie - -do it!!!

Loved visiting with Jim the Musher and the Unchained gang....I helped with putting on harnesses..petting and talking to dogs....I enjoyed touring on the sled with a young child who sat in the front seat and mushed the dogs along.It was wonderful watching them in their daily activities...I am ready to do it again.....
I love to watch the Unchained Gang out on tour with customers....They bark and sing on their way around the trail....Love it....Hi Jim....Hope all is well with the Gang...

Oh Santa and his loving helper working so hard...Our Dog/Deers are anxious to get going...Hurry up Musher....we want to get back for our snacks...we want to play with the kids that we see on the trail...Hurry they are waiting for us....Love it...
@BOSTONSNOWDOGS - YES!! Some of you have been here!! The miles of trails are engineered and groomed/cared for daily - Eden Dog Sledding is a year round center - there are great home-away-from homes to rent that are dog friendly with barbeques!
@10huskys - the Eden Dogs are only run for about 10 minutes before they swim to cool down - IF you know your dogs individually - and can see how they are doing so they don't over heat - then early cool mornings might work if you have a cool down pond . . . . . some people shave their heavy coated dogs for the summer . . . . the Eden Dog sledding dogs are Alaskans so their coats tend to be lighter than Siberians for summer .
Santa is training to be a musher!!! He is going to be working with the Lion Brother pups and their mother, Stormina, to bring all good children and doggies their Christmas presents this year!!!
