I guess I got lucky because mine flies great and have have flown it at least 100 times with no crashes or any problems. Sometimes products from China are inconsistent when it comes to quality assurance. I have bought some that were having some of the same problems so I can relate to your frustrations. It is always hit or miss with these cheap products.
Good morning Is there any receiver compatible with the Carson reflex stick that is not from the Carson brand? Are S-FHSS receivers compatible? Thank you
Just took delivery of C123 model. Something is wrong with it. Attempting to take off either manually(with sticks) or automatically, the motor shoots to full power with a very loud sound within the helicopter body. It will not fly. I checked the blade and it came to me with the yellow accent on top. I can't obviously see anything from the outside of the helicopter that looks wrong. This is not new to me as I fly many different helicopters and have some knowledge of their workings. I think it may have a bad flight control module. Anyway, how should I proceed? Bought it from AliExpress. Not very happy.
Hi Mark, 1st of all the beacon is from a company called Pistenking in Germany, it will work on 4-12volts. I wired it straight to the battery live and neutral (it only has two wires) under the rear canopy, so when you plug the battery in the beacon comes on. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--9xxXBzQRI0.htmlsi=hPMyaZ08vyIfojcg
Love the vids by the way, where you flying down the docks today?? Only i saw a drone over the dock road and wondered if it was you?? Ill look forward to future vids. 😊👍👍👍
Could be the transmitter when things get wonky! I’ve bought several of these rc era types of helis. Some directly from China. Many have arrived broken or not working. I’ve been able to take videos of the problems and they have always sent me replacements. So I’ve taken apart helis and transmitters and managed to fix them.
I have 2 models from other brands with the auto take-off. I have found that if I push the auto take-off I immediately push the the power control stick down, that will control the bird.
Love that color. Bike trail works well for crawling. Got to tell the parks dept to build you a crawler pit. You own the yellow camel rover if i am not mistaken? with trailer now... want to see that go for a drive.
love the heli! wonderful and explained review! This review is worth 1000 times more than the youtubers promoting these helis raving about them, but not giving detailed specifications... is it possible to connect an independent receiver and variator? like a flysky? Do you think the heli ESC will last more than 50 flights without burning out or failing? greetings
Hi, thanks for the kind words. Just telling the tale of my experience. Not sure how long it will last, hopefully longer than the 1st one. You might be able to add other radio gear, but I'm unsure.
I recently ordered one and before it arrived I was doing some research on this helicopter and I came across several videos with this problem, this scared me but I had faith that mine would arrive without this defect. Finally it arrived and I made the first flights with caution. The truth is that it flies wonderfully. Even so, I have continued researching and I realized that there are two versions, one that comes with an optical sensor and another that does not. Mine arrived without it and flies beautifully. I think only those that come with the optical sensor have had the problem.
I have done some experiments with my md500, at the time I bought it, I also bought a c129 both branded as rcera . I noticed that the transmitters (controllers) for both of these looked almost identical, so I tried using the opposite controller on the md500.. and it worked perfectly. So that means they have the exact same protocol, but even more important, my md500 now flies perfectly with the remote for the c129. The difference in controllers is minor,, with the c129 controller, I loose the kill button and the auto land function for the md500, but I consider that a good trade for being able to fly my md500 perfectly now.
Always remember the smell driving over the duke st bridge (correct me if I'm wrong,I left Wallasey 40+ years ago) The strong smell of molasses. Shame about it being derelict, plenty of people found a bit of work there.
I am having the same issue, up, up up and cant get it to come back down,, it is in the software somewhere,, I took it completely apart and found that swashplate has plenty of room to go down,, the heli either does not respond to joystick commands or the transmitter (controller ) is junk, I am going to look into a different radio for it, or get a new fc for it.
Hi, i have now purchased new parts via aliexpress, including a new motherboard ( circuit board) my helicopter now flies as good as new i can recommend it to you good luck and greetings from the Netherlands
