Ha Ha Ha I was beginning to think that this was actually just an old man that you were passing off as good make up job. It's flawless and practically perfect.
@MatthewTS22 Actually he is an academy award winning artist, the face not moving is not up to the makeup artists, thats up to the actors. What you saw happens a lot, prosthetics can feel restricting and some actors have a hard time acting through it. Others like Jim Carrey or Eddie Murphy really break through and move it.
@makeupguy I agree, you can see how opaque they are compared to his real skin in the application pics, they seem pretty pigmented to me. Amazing makeup!!!
I really wish this could have been the age maketup in Inception. Fantastic work. I really appreciate the non-graphical sculpt-- no need to add a wrinkle everywhere. Great work.
Great stuff, Though blending could tighter & not sure if its shore of the gfa or whether it has loosened by the nasal labia ooor if the guy is warey to flex his expression, but the articulation of the pieces dont seem quite there. But nice, if not down played, sculpt there. thanks for the post.
Besides the eyes part, which is not possible to be changed, the whole makeup is brilliant. The color blending, hair implanting, old spots, old man's ears, neck wrinkles, and the thickness of the foam latex are all great. Oh, he didn't get the teeth done. It would be better if they can put contact lens to make his eyes look aged. Cut his eye lashes in half.(the actor may complain.) Paint some of his eye lashes gray. Then this would be perfectly complete!
This is real. You can see his eyes. An old man in age 80 wouldn't have such long eye lashes. Pure black ones. Old man tend to have more white hair, also in eye lashes. Old man's eyes wouldn't be as perfect shape as young people, they would be longer in the ends.
Top notch! Higher than top notch! I've wondered about silicone appliances...foam latex is porous and allows the skin to breath under the aplliances...silicone is not porous...how does the skin under breathe?
