I'm loving this video but had to stop it when I saw two pairs of shoes on the bed. 🫣 I need a moment to digest that.... (Telling myself that because this woman seems so well organized, perhaps she cleans the bottoms of her shoes after every use? Maybe that's a thing some people do?😅) Okay, I can resume the video now. 😄
This is very helpful, thank you!!! I don’t know about the other ladies out here, but there is no way I can get into a mid or low rise denim without looking like a busted can of biscuits. They just don’t make them wide enough to fit the midsection and even when I was a size 2 I had that issue. Is there a brand that sells wider waist jeans to accommodate? Also, are light wash jeans a no in spring/summer?
I just found this on IG and loved what you had to say. I’ve ordered your book and started listening to your podcast episodes. I wanted you to know, 10 years ago I was teaching 4th graders, always dressing more up than down (a rarity in the field). I taught all subject areas in a very cold classroom. Because I had worked as a science and math curriculum specialist (training teachers), I had a lab coat I wore many days over my clothing and TRULY, I was treated with so much more respect and frequently people in the hall told me I looked like a doctor. It was a beautiful experiment on the power of purposeful dressing.
yeah, you might have mentioned what it has cost you?????? i might have taken more at concentrating what you was talking about. i am off..................
i HAVE SPENT WEEKS LOOKING AT BIO IDENTICAL HORMONES FOR MANY WEEKS, AND MY PRINTER HAS RUN OUT OF PAPER. HOWEVER, I AM DISGUSTED AT THE COST THESE DOCTORS ARE CHARING: £245 FOR CONSULATIONS A FURTHER AMOUNT OVER £100, PHONE CALLS COSTING A FORTUNE, PRESCRIPTIONS OFTEN £100 TO £250, I REALLY THOUGHT THIS WAS THE ANSWER, IT WORKED OUT ON MANY OF THE SITES OVER £2000 FOR THE FIRST FEW MONTHS! ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED! I WAS VERY DISTRESSED TO READ ON HERE ABUT THE YOUNG MOM WHO IS FINDING IT SO HARD TO COPE, SO I AM GOING TO LEAVE HER A MESSAGE, THE LADY WHO SAYS SHE DONT KNOW HOW SHE CAN COPE FOR THE NEXT 20 YEARS. ETC. ALSO THE YOUNG LADY BELOW HER. I HOPE THEY ARE STILL AROUND,ALSO FOR ANYONE ELSE PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR THE INFO.
had the same problem. The extensions were great, but at some point I developed an allergy. Every time she would put them on, the next day my eyes were like blowfish. That would last 6 days basically up until my weekly appointment. I tried the lash strips, but I had too much trouble putting them on. I've never really been good at anything cosmetic. That may have been a good part of the problem. Although, mine never came with a tool. Also, my lash artist said that having a reaction, I most likely would develop problems with the strips, too. She also told me that they wouldn't last all day. I also feel like they don't look the same as lash extensions. I feel like between the two, the lash extensions look more real and like you were just born with extra beautiful lashes. The strips felt more fake. Maybe a combination of everything I have said In this comment has made me not put enough effort in.
I have small feet as well and can't ever find heels. This is a huge challenge when it comes to choosing clothes. Living in Canada limits selection even more and brands like Sam Edelman are no longer making shoes below size 5 as they used to.
Whew. High heels used to be a staple in my closet in my 20s and early 30s. My 50 plus year old feet (and knees) now demand thick soled sneakers and loafers. But I miss my heels.
All great tips. I am a thrifter and deal hunter. While this results in some really fun and beautiful pieces, it also results in PIECES as opposed to outfits. I need help in pulling things together. Just purchased your book, and I'm just now browsing through your videos. Looking to pull it all together.
So glad I found your channel. I’ll be retiring from my corporate job next month. I have my professional style nailed but don’t want to end up living in yoga pants (as comfortable as they are). Your content is really helping me figure out what this next chapter looks like for me style wise. Also I was pleasantly surprised to hear that you’re also from Ontario Canada, Lauren, I really relate to everything you’ve said.
