As an outsider to this scoring system - I felt MVP was doing more and connecting more throught the bout. Was that knockdown where he lost balance and sat scored that highly?
@@gabegabes6419 I said what the hell is bull ship. I didn't ask if it made up 2 words. So did you graduate from highschool, and when you were in school were you in special education.
Interesting ... Raymond slow to raise as a star as if he was doing that intentionally while Michael fast raise as a star doing that intentionally . The way I look at it as if Raymond is the old lion and Michael is the young lion rasing to be the king of the cage while Raymond pick the right time just to walk in and walk out graciously compares to Michael to walk in and walk out roaring saying here I am and I am here to claim the Bellator .
I'm so glad i'm not a judge for this, lol. Two of the best that ever played the game difference of fractions of fractions of a second between the shots that made contact. no way I'd call it accurate
Hi Gordon, those sets look very good, they certainly bring back memories to me. Thank you for posting the video. I didn't get far enough to learn broadsword set, although I had started to practise it a bit. There is one on RU-vid of Winston Brown performing the broadsword set, he was one of my teachers and we were both taught by Sifu Stan Brown at Acton Lau Gar. I had a couple of other Lau Gar teachers during the 80s and 90s, but Sifu Stan Brown was the main one, a great man - humble, hard working and exceptionally talented. To get extra training I would go to other classes run by him or his senior students, particularly with Winston Brown (who taught in Kilburn) & Charles Brown (who taught in Romford). I also experienced a several classes with other senior students such as: Keith Baptiste, "Kung Fu" Kelly, Curtis Page and David Charles (also a Wing Chun practitioner). They were amazing times of really hard Kung Fu training and great enthusiasm for the art.
@@emmy4537 both are supremely athletic but this isn’t in any way fighting. They whole point of the UFC being invented was to show that this kind of stuff doesn’t work in a real fight. Like I said it’s basically tag, which they also have a world championship for now 🤦🏻
@@kevinbryantsr.6443 you’re clueless. it’s an effective base because most people don’t know how to fight against it. it translates well into mma and kickboxing. like I said, go watch either of their mma fights. daniels also competed in kickboxing. my cousin and coach (bobby seronio) has the same base and competes in bellator (2-0 about to be 3-0), and no one knows how to deal with our style. there are also fighters like stephen thompson who made a name for himself.
No this is W.A.K.O Kickboxing...in the GB open.Went there with our Dutch team Then. This fighting system is point stop system. Normalie with WAKO you keep fighting afther a point.Thatscthe normal system.Same as I.T.F Tae-kwondo..But at the GB open i had to Fight Daniells ones...hé was mutch jonger than. That time i won...But the years afther that one hé got way way more confident .Ant afther that year in the finale manny times it was between M.V.P and Daniells.Still love to see the new generations..I advise to see matches of a training friend of mine...Tomaz Barada from Slovenië. Hé,s the 6 time Europese champ and 3 times World champ itf Tae-kwondo And 5 Times World Champion W.A.K.O Kickboxing...He,s a Dangerous Tasmanië Devil ego dominated the I.T.F Tae-kwondo World And the W.A.K.O Kickboxing World for 15 years. Its a shame he came to late for the uprishing of MMA...😃💪💯👊
Never got this style. Both great fighters but this style? I don't see the point. It's more like armoured tag..may as well fight with a baloon on a stick
point karate. it’s very effective if you have an understanding of other martial arts. it’ll be hard to beat someone with this style in a real fight. hit and not get hit. watch their kickboxing and mma fights. this style is what gave them a lot of success.
Daniels drops him with beautiful rrear cross to the sternum perfect timing precision ..thats why he would beat mvp in mma more power than his point fight style and smaller glove
