This is where I do reviews on Indiana Jones gear , collectibles, props and other things I find fun. I hope you like what you see. Let's find about all things Indiana Jones
Yes the reprints were kinda weird.... The cover art just focused on the kid ( you the reader) . With Indy in the diamond picas the only way to know it's a Indiana Jones adventure.
@@bryanlyle when you take out the albums just behind the albums is a cardboard sleeve . Move that sleeve ... The map is behind it . I just found mine after looking at the album box again.
Managed to find a Read-Along Buena Vista Temple of Doom. It came with a 7 inch, 33 1/3-RPM record instead of a cassette. Going to try and find Raiders of the Lost Ark copy.
I have that Concord release of Raiders, it bugs me so much that they put a big image of Indy from Temple of Doom on the back.... Glad to see they used appropriate images on this one!
@@indyclone25 I would watch them with my mouth open. Also, do you know anything about the bantam books? I am trying to get embossed titled ones, but it looks like you should get lucky to get them
@@swbrix6238 the Indiana Jones books ? By Rob McGregor, Martin Caidian, and Max McCoy?. I have the original and some of the reprints from the Lucasbooks label.
If I remember correctly, The Greece Book makes mention of the Antikythera mechanism which we ended up seeing in DOD. Making history cool again with books like these and the Young Indy series was a smart move by Lucas and company. Thanks for sharing Mark!
@@indyclone25My favourite is Labyrinth of Horus. But Longship of the Gods is a fascinating story too. A bit different from the usual, but I think it works. And contains some nice twists and turns.
Been re-watching your videos specifically the massive tour I think of your collection, the one thing I saw which I'd actually never seen before but am now really intrigued about and thankfully I've found some online for sale is the Indiana Jones Canteen Pouch you had/have hanging from the shelving unit. Just wanted to ask what is it like? I found two for sale and me being me I was gonna get one to never open and one to use cause it's a sweet little pouch/cover. Aside from that, I just looked at the Box set it's not badly priced but wowzer it's really nice seeing all the things that are or have been available in the past and present. Great video chap!
Why on earth so you have 3-4 copies of some of those CDs?!? 😳 Couple of things to mention: - There are NO complete releases of the Indy soundtracks in existence (except... see below). The upcoming boxset contains ZERO new content. It doesn't even have the Concord bonus disc. - The DCC Raiders album is still the only place to find the COMPLETE Desert Chase. Every Raiders album before and since have got a truncated version. - There is a bootleg record in existence for Young Indy volume 5 by Curt Sobel. - My copy of the KotCS CD came in a jewelcase. I think that was a European thing? - There are various unique concert suites by Williams, on such albums as The Spielberg/Williams Collaboration and Williams on Williams. - KotCS is the only of the films that has a complete, high quality sessions leak available. - I hadn't heard of the Bridge to Yesterday. Is the soundtrack any good? - Do you have the other Indy game soundtracks? There aren't really official releases, but there's fan edits based on the game files. I really like Emperor's Tomb. Weirdly, there is also a Fate of Atlantis soundtrack OFFICIALLY ON SPOTIFY, which doesn't include the Raiders March or even any note that it's Indiana Jones. But it's totally Indiana Jones! 😂
The 'Raiders' movie on record looks cool. I'd like to get one of those. I had the first two movie soundtracks on cassette in the 80s. It was great because you could take them with you out in the woods adventuring.
Really enjoyed your video! Would love to see a video about the soundtracks. I know there are different versions and would love to see your collection. Take care.
Fantastic collection! Maybe the biggest I've seen so far, I'm also a big fan and the guy that sculpted the Rubies crystal skull you showed, you made my day showing it. I'm sure you know this as it 's still in the package but it lights up (battery operated) I had to go into my man cave and dig mine up and put fresh batteries in it and it still worked, thanks for sharing, fortune & glory. 👍
Was wondering if you saw the trailer for the new Indiana Jones game? Not sure if you are a gamer but it looks like it could be good! I just thought of your channel with your cool Indy Collection after seeing the trailer lol.
Everything on this statue is awesome....except the face in my opinion. These Diamond Select are either a great piece or they miss on a major part of the statue. For the price it's cool, but I know DS could have blown this out of the water if the sculpt of the face was more Harrison Ford. Nice review and happy holidays.
The piece of plastic is probably meant to fit over the step and support the foot. With it being PVC and only anchored at one foot, it could sag/warp under it's own weight. I feel like they could have come up with a better solution that didn't stand out so much. A metal rod up from the base to the back foot would have been better I feel.
I don't know these Diamond Select figures are a mixed bag in terms of quality. Like the bridge and everything else looks ok. But the face doesn't really look like Harrison Ford. The Bust I think looks a bit better/passable. But there is that other one that has the swappable artifacts which looks like the best of the bunch. It seems like regardless of the company though Ford has a difficult likeness to capture. My Sideshow Indy from many years ago even looks ever so slightly off. That temple of doom statue (Not this bridge one), but the one where he's kind of standing with the machete down at his side? That looks awful. I think that's the one you may be referring too?
😢yes, the hat and then the face look terrible on that upcoming figure statue. Hopefully after therapy uproar people said about it they can update that .... Which means a price increase......
Was just going to ask if you found that hallmark ornament from 5 below. I picked up two of those. Been finding the old Indiana Jones comics at an antique store. They had the complete set for Thunder in the Orient, and The Golden Fleece. Also had The Shrine of the Sea Devil. Pretty happy to find those! I'll have to go back and see if they brought in some more.
Hello , please the show pages inside the comic with abner ravenwood wearing the gold mask , further adventures of indiana jones # 18 , show as many pages as you can Close Up Thank You , love the video , I subscribed to your RU-vid channel
@@indyclone25 I've just bought Indiana Jones and the Army of Dead. I'm waiting for it to be delivered to my home. What do you think about this adventure?
Indy's adventures are a large part of the reason I went into geology as a profession (not archeology, but I get to travel to exotic places, work outside, and dig for "treasures"). Mad respect for your collection. I'd LIVE in that room.
