Not sure if you’re Still taking questions, but I’m looking into a PhD , but was thinking of psyd as well, at 2:50, you were talking about how you wanted more options. Are you saying with a PHD you have more options? Because I do want to do research for the main part of my career and some clinal work but I don’t want to rule out clinical therapy maybe in the latter half of my career. So are you saying you have more options pursuing a PhD ?
It's even more true than ever that you need a masters to do a phd. However this differs depending on where your going to do a phd in America because an American phd program in claude level 7 studies as well as level 8. This is because American masters degree is equal to the standard bachelor degree in the uk, due to the fact the standard undergrad course in the UK includes an honours degree. So if you have done a standard bachelor degree in the UK then you affectively have and American masters degree and will find it easier to apply for a phd there.
Psychologists are researchers after all, medical school does not train you to be a researcher. Why would I need to learn about the entire human body while my interest only lies within a specific area?
Hey! You helped me get into grad school on the first try. I know your channel is for people who are looking to get in, but do you have any tips/advice for overcoming academic validation in grad school? Thanks!
Hyyy i am currently doing my bachelors and further will continue psy d , after this can i go for research or i have to complete phd and go for research .??
But you can do this with a masters in counseling, you can serve plus connect with other latinos without doing years of school and debt, would you mind sharing your personal reasoning for getting a doctorate vs a masters?
Hi! I'm Alisha and right now I'm a second year student of an undergraduate course, I wanted to study Psychology but unfortunately there was not a single college in the 95 km radius of my hometown who offers a graduation degree with psychology so can someone recommend me some colleges/universities in India who offers a Masters degree in clinical psychology?
There are various colleges offering masters in cp just Google it and boom you'll get n number of unis that are offering the same, for instance Christ, nfsu, amity, du, Kristu jayanti clg, etc
