Yeah, good luck finding some of these for under $5K unless you are buying a junker or partial project car. I picked up a 99 Mazda Protege with the 1.6L and 5 speed for $2100. It is an all manual car and had 41K miles on it when I got it. I bought it as a daily to driver to work to keep the miles down on my CTS-V. It kinda grew on me. After lowering it with coilovers it really handles well but needs a turbocharger, which I would do except the major negative... no aftermarket support for it. I guess I could build one but.. eh.
Probably, but a junker could be someone’s prize depending on the car🤷♂️ just wanted too show that some of these cars can be yours if you put in enough work and time you know?
