The Destiny Lore Vault is primarily designed for archiving video sources to support and provide other community-fuelled sites like Ishtar Collective and Destinypedia with sources.
Our community, and the wider Destiny lore community, has emphasized the significance and need for having validated sources. While content creators and archivists within the community share videos and screenshots on their channels and sites, our purpose is verifying that information so that everyone can be on the same page, especially when it comes to theory-crafting and sourcing.
Thanks for stopping by and feel free to use our videos/sources as you please :)
I think that this vision is referring to Humanity, as in the beginning maybe referring to how Humanity already has many cities and usage of the word “peoples”, “peoples” as in plural is often depicted as a different number of groups of people like cultures, ethnicities, races and such, we don’t know about racial standards of other species, maybe the Krill and the Helium Drinkers but I don’t think that would fit here right now.
I don't believe the Syzygy was a myth... but I do believe that the part about it destroying Fundament was a lie. Of course, it could've very well been a lie that the Witness willed into being to better manipulate. The subjugation of the Krill was a masterstroke: the Witness spins an elaborate lie for Sathona and her sisters to believe, while Rhulk subjugates the Worm Mother who will eventually create the Krill's future Gods.
Imagine how fucked the Vanguard would be if Oryx was not only successfully resurrected while keeping the powers of the Taken, but now also as a Lucent Hive, giving him power over Light AND Darkness.
1:28 Revisiting old content, now I'm hearing this. Savathun's been playing us the entire time. If the Endless Night was not her doing, what happened as a result of it certainly was.
You know between this, and the lore entires of the Eliksni seeing humanity as their spoiled little sibling, we really do have the most fucked up family dynamic in the universe going on.
I'm a little disappointed that in divergent timelines the big bad is always bad. Like Clovis Bray. In every timeline he's a monster but I'd like for one, he's just a good person or somewhat decent? Just variations in the loop like with the Dark Future timeline or the timeline where Elsie didn't even know what the hive were
In the case of Clovis, they do kinda show he’s not INHERENTLY an evil person with Banshee. It’s just that divergent timelines (either via Elsie’s Resets, or Vex Simulations) are branching off from a Clovis who’s already gone way past the point of now return.
I didn’t even bother finishing this. Season was boring AF and Maya was a dud. She’s not a worthy villain and crappy plot armor is the only reason why we didn’t bury a Gjallarhorn rocket in each of her eye sockets and call it a day.
It’s so sad to hear Saint had memories and knows what it’s like to lose a Ghost. I’m glad they acknowledged that with Osiris and Eris…they may not have the Light…but they can still help one another 😢
Pretty sure that Psion also orchestrated the trap that got Amanda killed. Given that Ikora confirmed what I had suspected since Season of Defiance. That with Calus gone, it would've taken a Psion or two or three to wrest control of the Shadow Legion. Kinda annoyed that Yirix didn't show herself in this episode.
I'm disappointed, but unsurprised considering how Bungie has consistently failed at portraying the Vex as the existential threat they're supposed to be.
@brunogonzales3752 They did its the conductor that's why we didn't kill her off at the end of the episode. Does it suck yes but it gives the vex a long term villian we can chat back and fourth with
@@Jaffamuncher21 a long term villain.... that only commands Vex yet another instance in which the "most powerful alien race" is only used, that is why we bitch bro, they gotta make em justice, give em a face, an ultimate leader, a PURPOSE, we're tired of this "simulation" bs, its just filler after filler
@@Jaffamuncher21 And the entire focus was on interpersonal relationships rather than what Maya was actually trying to do. And with nothing actually being shown of her power apart from FAILING to control Saint (and us) twice. We were continually TOLD how much of a threat she was despite never really being shown her true power. Perfect example of bad story telling, wrapped around an already thin plot. The storytelling for individual characters was decent, but the plot for the whole episode was dreadful. It's like Bethesda wrote it
@@NateMunoz-he9qm Long story short, the Conductor (aka Maya Sundaresh) has tortured and murdered multiple iterations of her wife Chioma in her search for the Chioma of her timeline, or more accurately one who would aid and abet her plans to implement a technocratic dominion over the universe.
@@chriswu772No I was joking that you said Cold Comfort, the rocket launcher from Ghosts of the Deep (it would’ve been funnier if I had that one Fantastic Four gif)
Lakshmi-2: And now… what? A ring, with the symbol of the Warlock Pujari? Death, again. Like Ana Bray, a Guardian fallen to the second death. Lost to us. We shall study these objects, Guardian. Learn why they have been pulled through time. I believe your work is over. For now. Praedyth’s files have unspooled. Their data undone like uncoiled strands of hair? And what has fallen free? A weapon, transmatted from some time and some place, and specifically for you. Someone has taken notice of our actions, Guardian. Someday, we may be able to ask them to explain what all this means. (rewards us with no time to explain) "Every timeline I see through the door of my cell, every sliver of reality, bears one constant. Her. She's always there. Standing sometimes off to the side, sometimes in the foreground. Sometimes sad, sometimes speaking to herself. And always carrying a gun." -File 00003 from Praedyth's Ghost - "We need to warn them-" "There's still a chance-" "SAINT-" "Hold on to me-" "I AM OWED THIS-" "Hurry, get Shim-" "There isn't enough of me left-" "TELL ELSIE PRAEDYTH STILL-" "Please, please wait-" "Warn them-" "I have to warn them-"
@@Techhunter_Talon (I believe he was using Reflections at that time - Echoes in that context are more like the Oryx clones in final boss of King's Fall - but you're otherwise right)
i really can't lie. its felt like words in the background... taking one phrase about maya and turning it into 10 useless ones. rewording things we've already heard. games already on its last legs and the legs are made from wet cardboard. :(
I don’t know… The ones in the old pyrimidion strike back on Io would kill me more than the boss (and that’s saying something because Brakion was downright BRUTAL back in the day, especially if you glitched him out by blowing his head off before he went behind his shields).
🤦♀️Misraaks has been accepting defectors from both House of Salvation and Spider's crew since Beyond Light. Namrask originally was from House of Salvation and Misraaks was taking in defectors during Season of Defiance.
You know, I’m surprised somewhat that Nessus wasn’t sunset way back when during season of arrivals, or eaten by The Leviathan, or otherwise torn apart by The Vex. Out of all the destinations to Sunset, Nessus would have made the most sense since it always felt like the place was running on borrowed time.
At the time, there were only 3 destinations that had Vex, and with 2 of them being sunset (Mercury and Io) Nessus was the only one left. To be fair though, the 4 destinations taken away by the darkness were those closest to earth. The darkness came for the traveller but protected Earth at the last second
@samparsons5867 the witness had the power to bring the planets in and out of reality so without knowing that power realistically we'll never get those planets back.
@@RedStatic2077 Well Savathûn managed to rip Mars back out from The Witness by herself, and Titan just sort of… Came back by itself. I feel like the other destinations will return in time, either on their own or from others forcing the matter.
@whiterose2321 I'd rather it be maybe a strike. Have US be involved with the dare in literally any way shape or form. The only step the guardian has seemingly helped crow with in becoming the next hunter vanguard is by killing uldren to allow for his revival lmfao. Sure we didn't oust him with osiris, but we didn't exactly do too much beyond all that. One expansion he's working with the vanguard, the next he's now the hunter vanguard leader itself. And in none of the space in between to I feel exactly integral to that development. It felt like what the guardian does is always the penultimate issue (which is typically is) and all the side story just gets resolved off screen. Unless of course it's based within the seasonal story. Which with that being the case, why couldn't we have helped crow over the course of a season then? It's just disappointing
Back when Crow didn't have his Uldren memories he got connected pretty quick with the tower folk, hunters out deep in the fields like Shiro-4, and even had connections with Eliksni and wanted to do stupid things that could threaten the tower, he was prepping for this role since he was risen!
You're already our patrol sidekick, Failsafe. It's just that your line reads haven't been updated since the Red War, so they're stuck in the dark place that you were in at that time.
