Thank you, but you missed the Arcade - twice - although it's not an impressive as it was with a number of empty shops. Still a lovely city with a decent market and plenty of independent shops. Unlike say, Reading which is about the same size but is completely characterless by comparison!
Nice videos❤ i was living there for almost a year and studying in UEA and i really enjoy remember some parts of the city while watching these videos😮❤ some things have not changed at all. Thanks for them.
Oooh, I remember this storm. Brilliant! Lovely video. The rain on your brolly sounds soooooo relaxing. And that thunder is FABULOUS! I’ve just discovered your channel and I’ve subscribed. Thank you for showing these films of our beautiful city. 😊 Edit, just checked and I have footage of this storm as well. Early evening between 17:30 and 18:00 ish.
My bus rout. I usually alight at the stop before the Co-Op shopping centre on Earlham road opp’ The Mitre. Good to see it from this perspective. Thank you. 😊
Great to see my city. But is your date right? It's getting dark yet most of the shops and market stalls are open, and there are some Christmas decorations out. Although the trees are mostly in leaf. I'd put the recording as late October - early November.
The city of my birth and now the city where my daughter goes to university. All quite odd considering I haven’t lived in Norwich for more than 50yrs, spent 40yrs in Germany and Hong Kong and my daughter was born in Edinburgh and spent more than 14yrs of her life in Asia before going to boarding school in Hertfordshire! The odd thing is I still recognise the streets and know exactly where you are going despite the pedestrianisation of many of them. The only pedestrian street in my youth was Little London Street!
Thanks for this. I used to go to the Britons Arms when I lived nearby, next time you go be sure not to miss their terrace garden, an absolute hidden gem!
Lived in Norwich from 2016-2020. I do miss the quietness and simplicity of the place. Had a better music scene. Not a lot of crime or chavs. Pretty difficult to get a job there though.
I sold up in London and now live in beautiful Norwich, it is a different world to what was a great city called London RIP ......Ray in super Norwich, the REAL England and peaceful ans safe.
