Hi and thanks for this great video of Jaco . I`ve been to Jaco many times over the years and want to come back this coming January. The hotel I always stated at was the Paraiso Del Sol just down the road from Pops but the Paraiso was sold by it`s owner Matt . I now need a new place to stay at. What recommendations do you suggest for me. I would like something clean well kept and not too expensive for a three week stay . Thank you again and I look forward to hearing back from you , Cheers Lindsay , BTW I`m male not female .
I was a frequent traveler to Costa Rica and never stayed in Puerto Viejo till last Fe., and loved it. We drove via the old route via Turrialba where we overnighted with family, enjoying Orosi and Cartago on the way. I prefer that route via Zurqui. We are returning to the beach villa in front of Playa Negra for nine nights. and we firmed up air as well for October. We'll dismiss the expensive car rental as it doesn't make sense and get a scooter after we bus there. . We just returned from a heavy itinerary in Thailand and Egypt, so a chill vacay is called for.
Born in CR and live in Los Angeles for almost 35 years I agree with your partner. Juan Santa Maria is in Alajuela. Expats and Americans going to CR need to get it correct and stop thinking they can change the country to whatever they please. Love the video 😊
Hi- May is one of my favorite Months in CR- There is no need to book in advance as long as you are flexible on day and times. If you only have 1 afternoon to do something, then yes book now
Your driver's license is good for 90days upon entry to the country. If you are planning on staying longer than this, I would recommend talking with a lawyer in CR.
