I work on scrapers and am blessed/cursed to work on these 657g. They break down so often but they keep me employed😅 This model and the diecast masters is pretty accurate
Thank you so much ,really helpful video. Could you please tell me, what is the good degree in celsius, for the brass to solder? Also, how do you paint on brass? Thank you in advance.
Can you please build a diecast 1/25 scale Terex ts24? If not 1:43 would be okay too I'm looking for this in memory of my dad could I have specific pictures of the scrapers that I want built. I'll give you my phone number, somehow if I can give it to you so you can get ahold of me please could you give me a decent deal on building them?
Hi Ethan, I have bought myself some flux. About the solder you used, should it contain any flux at all? I can locate only "rosin core", which apparentky also contains flux. I mainly solder thin brass rods (for slot carbox frames). I've found 60/40 but no 50/50 and I want t get the ingredients right.
Hey, beginner here. Can you please tell me what sort of solder I can use that is the same color as brass? I want to make some jewelry replicas, so the joint can't look a different color

way Awesome, I spent hours putting the McCoy Decal's on your scraper's. Phile Williams, back in the day. what ever come of him........it is one of the better versions of the 666 can, deep basket, high sides, one little detail, the reinforced draft arms. it actually is key, we had a number of stretch cans, coal haulers, with the extra added space for more yards of dirt, those draft arms would bow with out having them warped just saying

There are about 20 videos that say How to make Custom Decals yet none including yours Shows 'How" to actually make the decals. How to Size,How to use the software to make them the size you need you know "how" to actully make the decal, Anyone can print with a printer. It's the "how" to make the decals like your video is labeled is what some are looking for.
Thank you for this video. It’s clear, well lit and the audio is just right. Will that 'score and snap' method work for curves on polystyrene plastic sheets? My sheet is 0.08 thick (2mm) and I want to create rounded corners on a 4 x 8 piece.
My dad bought me this toy when I was a little boy. I remember seeing it on the counter at CAT, and I had to have it when I was a little boy. I got the tractor and the discs for christmas that year. Sits in my shop on a shelf today.
I'm currently using brass to make jewelry, after several failed attempted i place the metal in a bath of vinegar and salt.I remove it clean with regular tap water , then solder with borax as flux and jewelry silver solder like a pro😉
Very nice collection--I too have a 1/50 collection--just starting to open the boxes to see what I have--I just stared to post some on you tube-- feels great to see what comes out!,,
