Thanks for sharing its the most understandable description of VNAV and descent that I have watched. As a newbie I was interested in your comment about adjusting your throttles ready for hand flying, Just what do you do with your throttle hardware when flying with the FMC in control? when you adjust the hardware throttle does that not interfere with the throttles in the sim?
@davidwright8920 thank you! Glad to hear I've helped by sharing knowledge in an understandable way. I'll do a further demo if necessary but in terms of hardware, no it doesn't interfere - there is an additional indicator in the sim to show the hardware position (small blue line on N1 readout).

Which Joystick do you use? Or can you make a Video about your configuration of the Toliss Joystick Menu and brakes. I have still Problems with Landing in the centre and hold the line. Same with the taxi. The Airbus reacts too quickly and violently to slight corrections during taxiing.
