Good video but one question remained. Is the passphrase entered in the "edit passphrase" field not compatible with BIP 39? I say this because the words I would insert are not among the 2048 (beep 39 world list). Would that be it? Thanks
When I try to sweep the funds using the NFC function on my Numchuck wallet I get a page that says “Checking Funds. Please Wait.” But it lasts forever and I have never been able to proceed with my transaction.
I try to sweep the funds using my Nunchuck wallet to send them to a different wallet but the “sweep Funds” button is always grayed out and I cannot proceed. So what good is this card? I am very disappointed.
All this microSD card swapping making me nauseous. This needs to be feasible via QR code ONLY where you can independently verify the the exact information being transferred between the devices. There's no way to verify all three devices don't have a copy of the other devices private keys. You've NAILED transferring large files over QR with your splitting/batching of QR codes, so you should be able to make this completely airgapped very easily. Please make the final small step!
After my above comment, I see you are using the QR codes to share the descriptor rather than transferring it via microSD. This is good, but I'll have to experiment again to see if it's possible to transfer the XPUB from the initial two coldcards to the third for generating the wallet. I believe I've run into problems trying this before, but I'll gladly give it a try again. I believe the error I received when importing an XPUB was something like "Received text/json file. This is all I can do with this file" and no ability to save the data.
I bought this piece of shit and it's simply useless, the NFC doesn't work and the transactions don't complete, it gives an error and doesn't go. Bad advice, I ended up with a very expensive paperweight
Does wallet password (at 3:03) work like passphrase in Ledger, or hidden wallet in Trezor functionality? So that even if your seed words get compromised, you still need that extra password to recover the wallet?
When you set a duress pin, in the backend does it create a ‘’passphrase’’ in order for it to create a new wallet for that duress pin? Just interested to know the back end functionality
You need to update your documentation for verifying on mac. On step 5 of verifying pgp signature you do not mention to add the directory location in the "gpg --verify signatures.txt". instruction. Can you see how this is very confusing because people will just think they need to to "gpg --verify signatures.txt" and not the location... You only mention it in this video. Which I am sure is confusing a lot of people at that step if they are only referring to the documentation and not this video.
I helped both my mom and dad set up theirs up. At 2:43, I’ve run into the same problem with both of them. Coldcard is plugged into computer and my screen looks like the video. When I click scan, it says ‘no hardware wallets found.’ If you want everyday users to adopt your product, you need to make it more user-friendly.
3 minutes and 45 seconds of non-stop demonstration by the narrator. I am waiting for Bitcoin wallet tasks to become less than 5 seconds. People in cities get angry over rurals and suburbians not having their card taken out of wallet and have it ready in their hands before even reaching cash register to cut the task duration down to under 3 seconds.

Bitcoin is always on the Bitcoin network. Your hardware wallet securely holds your 12 or 24 seed words that gives you control over your Bitcoin on the network. The hardware wallets also will sign transactions using those seed words.
One small amendment (perhaps due to more recent firmware?). When going to the 'Source' Coldcard and then 'Advanced' there is an extra step, 'Backup', to be clicked on. Then you can access the "Clone Coldcard" prompt.
