You do that by applying several animation rules like anticipation, squash and stretch, etc. There is plenty of documentation to start on animating and most rules can be also applied to non traditional animation. In the case of Gmod, you need to think of it to something akin to a stop motion work, you set a camera, place puppets, freeze them into a pose, save a screenshot, repeat. Then you take those frames into a video editing software, turn them into an animated sequence(usualyyou need 24 frames per second for animation but you can even go for 12/48) and once you have all the sequences you want, its a matter of post producing and audio layering
