voice and guitar are excellent, but the sound quality of the recording is terrible - is it the microphone? sounds very tinny and almost distorted, not warm at all :( too bad, I bet this could be fantastic

This song means so much to me, I relate to the moments when my depression goes away for awhile and I can feel alive and happy. It's okay. Sinead's has way more feeling. And that is the way with a lot of Phoebe's covers. Prine and Tom Waits covers she does are just okay. I was a fan of hers early on but she became boring. Even when she smashed her guitar on SNL, seemed premeditated and awkward. And also boring.
