I'm planning a trip to Nicaragua this month. How do I get to this place from Managua? I heard a stretch of road to SJDS is in such bad shape that you need a 4x4 to get through. How true is that? I'm renting a small car but not an all wheel drive.

@towerjd38 Pelican Eyes is the best! We lived there for five years! From 2005 to 2010. Yes, they treated us like royalty! We now live in Panama City, Panama. Our plan is to live around the world in as many countries as we can. Nicaragua was our first stop. Argentina is next after Panama, the South Africa!

That part of his back was shaved so that the vets could amputate his hind leg. The hair eventually grew back. I made this video to help him find a home, and just last week he went home with his new owner!!!
