@@mikeskorpion8366 Thanks for the reply, I discovered that you put your finger in the open window and pull a bit to release the lid. Your video is beautiful!
That's why it's in parentheses. Newqida labeled this as a " bullet train" so any one looking for this Newqida model can find it in a search. They do not have the copyrights to market it as the DB ICE 3. Thanks for watching and appreciate your comment.
And I was woundering if ten cars may be to many for my Scientific Moguls... Great train. How did you get the locomotives to pull that many cars. Ther mast be a modification... 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃👍
it looks like that this was one of the newqida items which were only sold in u.s. sadly it never found its way to europe esp to germany. the original lgb one is overprized from my perspektive- lgb new ones in the early 2000 and used ones today. the newquida TCEs may an attractive akternative- if you may get one in europe . . .
They were only available for a short time in the US (2011) I was able to purchase them for $150.00 US. They are extremely hard to find now. They out run the LGB version and are fully compatible with them. Newqida was a very finicky company to do business with, the US supplier had a very hard time getting their trains even with money in hand ready to go. They refused orders for 2 years until they finally accepted any. I dought we will see any more from them.
@@mikeskorpion8366 I have found a decent variety on eBay here in the US, I've spent a little too much on G scale trains lately but as you said rolling stock from that era is hard to find now.
Impressive hauling power! Is that engin stock, or did you have to modify it any? I just got a 1990s vintage new in box EZ-Tec 2-4-0, around 15 cars for it, and a ton of track. I'm planning to do something similar!
@mikeskorpion8366 I tried it with the EZ-Tec 2-6-0 with a same length train, and the wheels were just spinning... probably because the batteries are in the coal tender rather than the loco, so it's not as heavy. I have the engin apart now as I add some weight inside, and a proportional speed control from a hobby grade RC car.
I used 3/4" PVC board for the base and cover them using Lemax brick sheets that you find in craft stores around the holidays. I glue the brick sheet down with super glue. The roof for the coveted platform was made from spare roof sheets from some model house kits and the supports are from old MPC light pole fixtures.
No. This is LGB brass track. This Playmobil train is a track powered one. Some of my earlier vidoes show my brown plastic Newqida track that I started out with.
