hi there! im setting up a dual pc setup with this method in the next few days, i was wondering if there was any way to make it so the gaming pc could also receive internet via ethernet? i have the space to put a pcie network card, and wanted to know if it was possible to use that instead of wifi!
Does this work on the shp9600? I know the headband should come off the same way but it doesn’t look like the ear muffs do. Edit: yea they come off the same way. I just had to put in a little more force
I mean it's a very simple thing but I hadn't thought to check whether the pads could come off. Thanks for being the first result on Google for "How to clean Philips SHP9500," because although I could've easily read somewhere that it comes apart for cleaning, the video demonstration gave me the confidence to safely pull off the pads.

My problem is that suddenly the picture dissapered on my streaming pc. I still can see my gaming pc in the ndi source, but i wont get a picture and the ethernet is not sending any data in the taskmanager...
Huge thanks. I have seborrheic dermatitis so my ears shed skin and oil like crazy. This kind of cleaning will have to be a yearly endeavor for me. 😅 It's a lot more daunting than it seems (everyone's afraid of damaging their stuff, understandably) but the whole process is a lot more quick and painless in practice. Having a video like this for reassurance is a big deal though!
I am here for the same reason. I am so thankful that my insurance finally covers Dupixent which has practically cured the atopic dermatitis from the neck down. But from the neck up I still get spots of eczema, and my earpads gross me out because of all the yellow stuff that’s encrusted on it. And I am afraid even if I get the seboorheic dermatitis (after several painful scrubs with Nizoral and tea tree oil) under control, the fungus on the earpads will trigger it again.
Thanks for this. I also recommend cleaning the grime from the outer plastic parts of the headphones, To do this, use a dry cloth with some rubbing alcohol. Make sure to wipe only around the plastic enclosure and across the band, so as not to damage the headphone speakers within.
Thanks for the vid my dude, I've had these things for maybe 2 years and they are...disgusting. I think when I can finally upgrade these I'm gonna go with something synthetic and wipeable, because these things are just giant sponges for grode. It's ridiculous.
great video my setup is the same. the router is one floor above me. but for some reason the mbp received is less then 100 and the throughput is at 11. Even with the wifi turned off. idk why? do I need a switch?
You may realize this already but your Bose set takes wired input too. Shouldn’t have any latency if you use the wireless receiver you bought with those. I plan to do this for use with an electronic drum kit.

Personally, I wash them when either: 1 - They start to smell, or 2 - I set them down on a piece of paper and the oil built up in them leaves an oil mark (kind of like greasy chicken on a napkin). #2 is shown in the video at about 5:30.
Try wiping with Lysol or something similar to lysol first...then wash them as shown in the video. Lysol kill mold/fungus spores. If Lysol is not available, I would suggest finding something similar that won't damage the fabric on the ear cups.

Will OBS's NDI plugin work with a Tp-link 5 port switch and 2x cat6 cables, no internet connected to switch or PC's as I need to use wifi since router is to far away from both PC's... thanks heaps if you reply 👌🤔
