I'm starting at USW this month for my 1st year, do you have any recommendations on what things to focus on in self study? Like anatomy, reading over research papers etc. Any help would be great!
Release a full routine the day before a game and on it. I am looking for a routine to do for my last college season that is consistent and healthy. Great videos too!
It's wonderful to see how far you've come. Used to watch Goalkeeping Highlights when I was 11 or 12 back in 2016-2017 and loved your kits and goalkeeping advice. Now, I'm 17, here as a medical student playing Football and county cricket as a passion (for fun kinda). Time flies fast mate :)
To any short keepers don’t be discouraged due to your height, yes every inch counts and can save a ball from going in a goal, shorter goal keepers are more agile and explosive meaning they may be able to move quickly and they can get an extra 2-5 inch from quick explosiveness
Hi Will, Thanks for the insight! Sadly,I’m not exactly looking to be a chiropractor however I am interested in medicine . If you don’t mind, would it be possible if you could contact that friend from Birmingham and ask him for some key tips which worked for his med school application and some things that didn’t.Thank you so much.
2:25 Wow, I go there too, I was wondering how much detail you have to study anatomy in (e.g is it mainly musculoskeletal or do you have to learn all the ins and outs of all the organ systems as well)
Great to see that you’re back! I still have an interest in goalkeeping but I’m in no shape to start and I’m doing my A-levels but if you could please make a video on the basics it would be really helpful. Especially stuff about footwork. Thanks!
I'm a goalkeeper and I keep getting beaten by high shots and it's pretty annoying. I have very good reflexes and can get to the ball relatively quickly. A striker shoots a powerful high shot and as i dive towards it, I get my fingertips of my top hand on the ball. However, on numerous occasions, it touches my hand and still goes in. Am I doing something wrong? Any advice from anyone is appreciated.
