So gread you’re not adding oil!👍🏻👏🏼 There is no need to! Sesame contains up to 50g of fat for every 100g. It’s hard to find a recipe with no added oil! This version is whole and healthy!😋

I soak my sesameseeds beforehand - like all nuts, seeds, grains and legumes are supposed to! To neutralize the phytic acid (bitter-taste). This also makes them sweeter and more digestible. Will the heat not make the fat inside them rancid? Or destroy the nutrients???

No sugar, except 240 grams of sugar in 300 grams of dates. If you didn't add sugar, that doesn't mean that is without sugar. Sugar is sugar, no matter where it came from. So your version has 26% sugar, surely much better than the original.

why did you not just pop all the sesame seeds in the blender to begin with instead of first mixing in the food processor and then as a second step, blender?

Great. Found one with just sesame seeds. I’ll end up using the food processor then blender too. Thanks
