Yea, I used the camile rose leave in. It shrinks up because it has so much glycerine in it. It is the first ingredient. So maybe you should use it when it gets a little colder. But I love your hair.
@@LC-el5qm thank you so much for this!! I really didn’t realize that’s the reason for the shrinkage. I knew it was the leave-in, but I couldn’t quite figure out exactly what it was. This was so helpful. Thank you! ❤️
Thank you for this step-by-step! I recently tried doing a perm rod set, using the same Mielle mousse. Didn’t work out too well 😔. I’m going to try again with using smaller size rods and rolling it like you did. Have you used a hooded dryer to set your perm rods or do you just air dry? Is your hair type 4c? I ask b/c that’s my hair type and I’m looking for tips on doing perm rods for my short 4c hair 🪮
@@StarViewer68 you’re so very welcome!! Glad this was helpful 💕 I normally use a hooded dryer but I do let them air dry overnight sometimes. In my opinion, the hooded dryer works better to set the curls and they hold longer.
@@darlenelynch1887 honestly they could last as long as you want. Just moisturize them and refresh them often. I had mine in for about 2 months, almost 3. Hope this helps! 🩷
Hey loves! I absolutely hated the lace on this wig so I had a crazy idea to cut it into a u-part wig and try out the “crochet illusion part” method lol. How’d I do? ❤
Also, this wig was purchased from ywigs.com. I don’t remember the length or anything lol bc this wig is really old BUT enjoy 15% off using my coupon code: “Adeshia15” ❤
Thanks for this video! My granddaughter asked for Mielle products last Christmas so I also bought some for myself. I usually wear 2 strand twists but want to try a wash and go. Didn't know if I should use this product or their twisting soufflé. I'm going to follow your lead and see how it works for me. Thanks again.
I watched both of your videos on this style and you improved on your technique. The first one looked good but this time looks amazing. I can’t wait to do this style on myself soon.
Hello 👋🏾 Adeshia. I’m a new subscriber. Ur hair looks 👀 beautiful What gel or edge control did you use to lay ur edges? Thanks 🙏🏾 for Sharing ❤️👩🏽🦱👨🏾🦲👶🏽🍯🫶🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
Im so thankful for your video! Im a man and have never experimented with my hair the last time i had it grown out, but im trying to take better care of it, and my sister turned me onto Mielle products. I've used them a few times now after washing my hair, and have been thoroughly inpressed. Even someone like me who never knew what a wash-n-go was before was able to achieve softer feeling curls. How often do you use the curl sculpting custard? Is it once a week? Also, how ofteb would you recommend washing one's hair while ysing this product? Sorry for the long comment. Im just curious, clueless, and trying to do better lol
I completely understand! You’re fine! I would be asking a ton of questions too lol and I’m so glad that this helped you! Whenever I do use the curl sculpting custard, I only use it once a week. I wash my hair once every week, preferably at the beginning of the week bc I do style my hair on wash day’s and however I style my hair it’ll last for the entire week. Hope this helps ❤️
Heyyy, happy God blessed Sunday& Sunday Funday🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. So, I followed the reviews , well @ 1st I thought it was hype but the doux bee girl: crazy sexy curl mouse give shine, hold b/c your hair definition& popcorn curls, coils whatever your curl pattern it defines it& even with hot muggy weather of south Florida I have curls no puffy frizzy hair from the humidity of Fl weather. O, miche set: gel to foam mouse these r my day 1s. O, they both bout the same have a spray bottle with water& less is more, they work sooo well. Thanks, i feel comfortable from your demo I get the hang of boho braiding. It’s the curly hair 1st time I tried it, girl I got so frustrated I ate a snickers& had a mountain dew& went 2 sleep with all that hair in my bed😂😂 but from your video I’ got the concept, thanks 4 such amazing content✅✅✅✅ god bless& all the best success 2 infinity& beyond💕💕💕💕.
Thank you!! ❤️❤️ I will definitely try those recommendations for the mousse. I’m so happy to hear that you’ve learned something new and trust me I was the same way when I first started trying knotless braids 😂 I gave up so many times
I just love how moisturizing it is. It honestly doesn’t mix well with most products and that’s what causes the white flakes. I would just recommend doing like a patch test and mixing the Eden bodywork’s with whatever product you plan on using and see if it mixes well/clear. If it stays white then try a different product. Hope this helps!
Hey! Yes you can use a neutralizing shampoo after using hair dye. It helps to stop damage and protect your hair. I really don’t remember the exact shampoo I used, but any color-safe shampoos will work just fine. Avoid any shampoos with sulfates or clarifying shampoos right after you dye your hair. Hope this helps!
Try the banding method at night. Use satin scrunchies. Also make sure your hair is fully dry before going to sleep. Wear a satin headscarf or bonnet. Let me know if any of these things helped! 💕
I like this! I am never careful with the parting on the back and then try to be neat on the front and thats all. I would like for someone to explain what my density is lol. I feel I have a mid density, is that a thing?
Heyyy, happy Wednesday🎉🎉🎉 my fav part was when you used the comb. I did the same thing on my clip in hair I have a 3-row comb& it get great definition , b/c ppl though it was my real hair, lol it was better length Clip-ins. As always stay blessed& infinite success🎉🎉💕💕💕.
Love hearing from you!! ❤️❤️ so glad you loved that part! It’s so easy to just use a comb; it also saves time with styling and detangling lol. I’ve been thinking about getting clip-ins and I think this is my sign lol. God bless you love! 💜
Just by twisting tight enough and adding enough gel to blend your natural hair with the twist hair. Also, add gel to the ends and twirl the ends around your finger in the direction of the twist at least 4-5 times. Hope this helps! ❤️ I kept them in for almost 3 months and had no issues with the ends coming out.
I almost forgot, make sure when you add the twist hair that you’re also braiding that hair in too (at least 2-3 times). This will really help secure and lock it in.
Thank you! 💜 I definitely struggled with feeding the hair in as well. I started a regular cornrow with my own hair and added hair once I got towards the middle of my head. It just helped starting off. Hope that helps! ❤️ I watched a lot of tutorials lol but I am planning on posting a video soon further explaining in detail on how to add the hair.
You did amazing for your first time! Try to blow dry or stretch the hair overnight that way you’ll have an easier time and a texture similar to the braiding hair.😊 Keep practicing!
Thank you so much!! 💕 That is such a great tip! I definitely struggled with frizz from my natural hair. I stretched it in braids the night before, but I probably should’ve just blow dried it.
I really wish I could help and give you the best answer, but I’m not an expert with locs ☹️ Have you tried to use any products to lift the original hair color before dying it? That might help.
when you do wash n go's regularlly how often do you re wash and do another wash n go. Thanks for this video. I know I'm mad late but I just came across your video coming looking ofr mielle videos on this product
Yes! You are correct. My hair was wet. I had just freshly washed and conditioned my hair. Once I made the parts, I stretched my hair by doing a cornrow for the first two rows and let that sit for about 15 mins. Because I did take a lot of breaks, once I got to the top of my hair it was completely dry. Hope this helps ❤
I am going to stick to black hair for good because every time I've dyed it my curl pattern changes and it gets extremely dry.. even with me keeping it moisturized and conditioned. My hair absolutely hated my blonde color.
Thank you for the upload, I think going smaller made it more fuller, and honestly it came out greater, I like them so thank you for still showing the results, and your skin is amazing!!! I will definitely be changing my mini knotless into twists :)
I didn’t use any products prior to dying my hair, but I used the Aussie shampoo and conditioner (can’t remember the exact kind) to wash and condition my hair after dying it. Then I used the kinky curly knot today afterwards.
It doesn't grow anyone's hair. It about retention Do you see more growth or keep more hair after having mini twists, should be the question NO THIS IS NOT MY CHANNEL & NO PUN WAS INTENDED, dear commentors 😂😂😂😂 BTW... love your soft looking fluffy hair. 😊❤🎉
lol thank you!! ❤️ I agree with you! The question should be if we’re seeing growth. I personally don’t keep my mini twists in long enough to see growth, but I just wanted to see if someone has found the perfect way to retain that length from mini twists.
❤ Thank for this video! I have the same type hair and you've explained this experiment and process so well..uuugh finally i have the confidence to try this style on my low density hair..thank you thank you thank you! Now I'm about to do mine..lol but God! Wish me luck❤
I am so happy that I was able to help you and boost your confidence! It’s definitely discouraging sometimes to try different hairstyles with low density hair! But if there’s a will, there’s a way lol good luck! ❤️ I know it will look great!
