The chill coming off Glenn Close throughout this scene and through out all five seasons I may add, is scary. Her face when mentioning about dumping him just shows you how emotionally inward and disconnected she is.
I understand woman want ambitious boyfriends/husbands so they can brag to their friends what position their man has. In fact, don't men brag to others how beautiful their girlfriend/wife is?
I love this scene. Of course, I don't think we got the full story there considering what we know now what Patty did during her last year in law school.
