Best shang I've seen by far. Did you know tho that his forward 3 leads into a full combo? I see you land it and then finish with the 2. Love the vids nonetheless
Man i really love shang and really wanna main him for his sick morph combos brutality steals and juggle combos but i find him so weird to use and play, ive had way less trouble confidently picking up kenshi and homelander! Any tips on not constanlty having misinputs, whiffs, combo drops and how to open opponents up. Would really appreciate!!
Homelander and Nitara gotta be the most braindead characters at the moment. So annoying😂. I like your Shang with Jax and Tremor and yours stats matter little în the end like yiu said if you plsy against pro's and lose it's fine you learn much more.
Shang and jax have some insane setup and tremor is the same but is more situational. I have learned from fighting pros but i just cant handle that stress
Amazing vid bro u got me trying to pick up shang cos i love playing interesting characters like him rain and quan. Labbing him rn and i just cant seem to connect the ground skull after the morph and kick. Any pointers or tips on how u do it?
Shang is my favorite. I’ve always been scorpion main till this game. Not a fan of subzero being scorpion so I switched. I’m glad I did. Shang is complicated and fun.
Just the far ground skull. For me, it's more of an issue of doing the directional inputs too fast, I have to remind myself to slow down a bit (even though it still has to be relatively fast).

i don’t think bed of spikes is always necessary. using the full kameo bar for a block string isn’t ideal. you can also stagger your f4121 string into terra mix/throw for equally good pressure with half the cost. then you can do a regular ferra and an air ferra for one bar in a sequence, where the airborne ferra will take two bars if you do it with full meter (until that’s patched out)
ohhh thanks for the tips, I dont do the f4121 string into ferra because it can be interrupted, but I risked it on the reiko match because I havent done it before that so it made a good mix. But thanks for the tips, I do agree that the full bar is not ideal just for them to block
the release of Ferra got me back on shang tsung, and this is the most fun i’ve had with shang! especially since seeing this video and learning that spikes conversion.. holy hell! (shang still needs buffs tho)
The mix itself is something that shang really needed to push him even further on the tier list. Altho I think the health boost will get nerfed eventually😂
the reiko was good because with reiko all you need is game control and the zoning of the guy was actually a way to control your game play,you just needed to adjust
His overhead in young form, zoning and combo’s are pretty strong, if you just switch between both forms when necessary he’s real strong. And if you are getting clapped by meta characters, just shapeshift.
When reiko throws stars immediately do fire balls 2 or 3 as soon as they pass behind you when you duck them you’ll get a reversal or do a cameo attack like tossing ferra under you it goes full screen
