We are all individuals, it does not matter what parents accepted or tolerated in their youth; however, the younger people today must be free to pick and choose their ways. After all, we cannot choose who our offsprings true love partner (race group) will be born in. We are created to obey God, and not our parents once we arrive at adulthood.
I'm even later than everyone. I just finished watching OZ. I ended up binge watching it because it got me hooked by the end of season 1. I did enjoy the full frontal male nudity moments. Thank you Fontana for that. The characters that I fell in love with were Tobias Beecher and Chris Keller. Their love story was so beautiful and they played their parts so well. The ending was too sad and I wished they would have come up with a different ending but I guess it had to end somehow. Fyi, the reason why the show ended was because there was a legal dispute between Viacom and HBO over the rights to Oz. If they come up with a second OZ, I'm definitely watching that too. Hopefully they bring some of the old characters back or have cameos.
Oh shesh. Lol. I thought you were in prison for 19 years (the title of the video threw me off). I had a friend who was in prison for a year. He was lucky not to get 20 to 30 years for what he did.
Just FYI--there shouldn't be mayo in tuna croquettes (patties--whatever you call them), so it is the recipe! These were a staple in my house growing up, when mom didn't feel like cooking. They are also really yummy with canned salmon. Anyway, it is the recipe! Not you! That's good news, right?? I am going to make these this week actually. We don't write down family recipes, but from my recollection, IF you can go to the store and pick up some fresh dill amd red onion, the dill will make ALL the difference in the world!! Tuna, Drained!! 2 eggs, beaten Chopped dill Chopped red onion, or any other kind on hand Bread crumbs (panko works better outside than mixed into a mushy recipe like this--one could dip the patties into panko and then fry but it's more calories and unnecessary. ) Salt, pepper to taste Fry until golden in olive oil They can also be baked, I haven't tried my air fryer yet, but I am sure they would work! NO MAYO!!! Serve with lemon wedges
ive been getting "free stuff" from what people leave out in front of their homes and "take it or leave it shops" at local dumps. All my kids thrift now! Its fun and so beneficial!
I have a sensitive stomach and always tell myself never doing that again! Somehow I think I’ll be just fine next time I eat that food again. Good for you in not letting a bad day derail your project.
I'm a slow reader too, I dont actively look for shorter books, just get books I'm interested in reading. I tend to finish audibles more since I can multitask while listening to it. Same issue with ebooks. Keeping a list of the page numbers sounds like a good idea, may have to try it. And that cake looks so good!
I just finished this book, and now are watching some review videos. And it's really telling how all the POCs on Booktube have such rational attitudes about this book and all the white people are virtue-signalling SOOO HARD for fear of being called racist. It's ridiculous.
The best books are about fascinating stories and characters. Ideology and antiwhite hatred have no place in genuine, high quality literature. Diversity has no place in literature. It's patronising and racist.
Same I feel a little guilty not participating in the pokemom go events cuz all I have to do is open the app and maybe stop by the mall to get to some close gyms. But I don't 😂 just go home and take a nap before doing other things
Loved your review !! most people don't know about Oz and most of those cant sit through it lol. I heard it ended because something with the distribution rights. Something like multiple companies owned certain aspects of the show like the rights to the IP, or rights to the distribution which is why last episode felt so rushed

I find my non-book videos (cat videos) do better. Sigh. I mean, I don't have any big desire to be monetized, but for the effort that goes into filming and editing, I'd like to do a little better.
I definitely read the descriptions. LOL. Not sure if anyone else does. I try to just enjoy Booktube for what it is and not worry about what other people are doing. The read-a-thons are a little much. I do sometimes get frustrated with lack of views, but there are so many BookTubers now that it's hard to compete. I guess that's my advice to newbies. Don't stress about numbers. Just put out good content and hopefully people will come.

I'm guilty of adding to the readathons 😅 but to be fair, you only have to read 3 books in the month to "complete" it lol. My bookclub is having the Santa's Workshop readathon where you get to complete training (by reading books) to have different positions in Santa's workshop
I’m not sure if you followed me or not…but I stopped not long after you too. We moved and then now we homeschool and it’s hard to get a quiet space to film. I’m also one of those people who’ve been doing videos off and on since like 2014 and still don’t even have 100 followers. I’ve never understood. But also, don’t really care. It’s the same on my Instagram. 🤷♀️ Lol I do kinda wish I could get back to filming but I just don’t have the ability to have a good space (quiet and such to do so).
I have heard a lot about BookTube and readathons in the past, but finally checked into some channels this fall for reading recommendations. I was not ready! So many options! I came across some of those 24hr readathons thinking I could get away with that as a teen or in my early 20’s, but now? No way! I like your version of 10mins a day a lot better 😄 However, the variety of readers & niches are great & I’ll have to check it out again soon.
Hey now, I read video descriptions (and the acknowledgments in books actually 😂). I’ve found that Booktube has gotten broader over the last few years. Not just in terms of the big channels, but in the sense that there’s a niche for everyone, so even if you have odd tastes, there will be a few hundred other people around who are interested.
I am big on the Hallmark movies & it’s the only time of year I watch Lifetime. Elf & Polar Express are “must watch” selections on my list. I didn’t know one could reflock a tree! TFS 😃
