Oh my god thats like that time Sajam said something about not having specific guides of stuff for old games, thank you so much man! This is gonna help out a ton in helping People improve with venom! Myself included too!
That's sick usually it's just better to mix Baiken right away after the KD That's why I like vapor thrust loops midscreen more than in the Corner as Ky
@@redhairedprince5382 Well it's not the first time that happened. You should look up what the term "F-Shiki" comes from (which sometimes ppl call fuzzies or fuzzy overheads)
@@BadoorSNK well there is also "Ain's prison" which is a technique named after the japanese Ky player Ain Probably these guys are lap monsters, since I saw Ain cooking a couple of things in strive as well
Man, this guide is incredible! This seems like such a great resource for teaching new venom players what decisions they can make and why you would make those decisions. Definitely gonna be coming back to this later!
@@argus5597 it seems you can replicate this by doing 2K 2D 236D cS 236H cS 6H TP. You just take out the 2H. It works the same & leads to the same 3-way mix, but you might need to adjust the timing of the same side jH airdash (as well as when you input jH) so it’ll autocorrect & hit them instead of going the other way away from Ky. In any case, thanks for letting me know.
Also found that you can do 2K 2D 236D cS kara 236H cS 6H TP. It’ll do slightly more damage since 236H hits twice instead of once, & the spacing for the teleport matches the route in the video with 2H, so it’s easier to time the airdash & jK/jH inputs to get the left/right airdash mix
Marvelous. Strive was a ridiculous piece of garbage from the start. No gameplay variability, gutted gameplan of many canonical classic characters of the series, who were simply unlucky due to the bias of the Arcsystems, and an absolute disregard for balance. Ridiculous game design decisions with inappropriately high damage and simply endless free pressure. Zato in seasons 1 and 2. Ridiculous auto-aim shooting gallery with HC on release and after that they give him the best mix-up potential in the game. Constant buffs to the gorillas in every patch, as if their pressure was so weak and they needed a wild assault... New character moves are just a piece of cake: Millia's new move is just another poorly converted melee poke. Not a single Millia player wanted this, but they didn't even ask character's audience what the character needed. As a result - no changes. The meta games are still the same several overbuffed gorillas, Nago with an unresponsive full-screen overhead, Sol with broken damage, Ky, May, GL, Pot, Slayer, ABA -gorilla characters that will destroy you in 2 touches. They are adding more and more gorillas to the game, with huge HP and Huge damage. There are so many gorilla characters in this game because the balance in Strive always works in the same direction.. You see how there is not a single top strong Millia player left either in world. During these 3 years, almost all the top best players in the world abandoned the character. Deplorable condition. Completely corrupt meta bloggers, LK and Leffen have touted this game as being extremely balanced, when they themselves are the best example of how unbalanced Strive is. You literally have no chance to win with character who is not in the meta. All the latest CEO, EVO, Combobreaker, Faustings, Arcrevo finals show the same characters and players... There is no competition for the rest of the roster and no representation. Strive is simply the worst thing in this series, and I can't believe that this will all end with on this.
@@shiveringnewborn for plus R? Not really, but there are a number of offline events for other fighting games happening in the region. And there’s sometimes a few +R players that you can find in various places in the Middle East that you could meet with. Check with the Fighters GCC discord for that.

Did not test if they can backdash it. From what I noticed, reaper isn’t active much when it meaties the opponent so they might be able to backdash it, but they’d need to guess the correct side in order to input backdash, so it doesn’t negate the mix up.
The reaper itself is the attack hitting as a cross up, not cS, so the gapless requirement isn’t needed if you do the setup properly. But in cases where reaper isn’t landing as a cross up I guess you can delay cS by a little bit.
