The music is great, you guys really vibe. If anyone is expecting the vocals to sound like the original, fuck em. It vibes. You guys rock. Sounds good imho.

I like this better than Billy Squire! The bass player reminds me of Roger Glover from Deep Purple and the singer looks like Sammy Hagar! Very nice job guys. Write your own stuff, you will do great!
Pretty phenomenal Van Halen cover. Quite frankly, it's better than any live version that I've heard from Van Halen. It certainly helps fill out the sound with two guitarists.
That was really good cover. I've always loved the album version of this song but was pretty consistently disappointed in Van Halen's live performances of this song. A good bit of that was DLR not really taking it seriously and delivering a good version of the song but instead showboating to the crowd.
I'm just gonna say, I've been trying to learn the lead to this song so my band can play, and I've been looking at every live video in existence for ideas. There is not a single video out there where the album version of the lead has been replicated even close until this one. Not even CC himself can play it as written live, and neither could Ritchie Kotzen in the 90's. So kudos to the guitar player for nailing this almost perfect and inspiring me to continue to work on it when I was just about to give up and just do my own thing instead. Back to work for me....
That sounds great! I was so impressed with the singer's mic technique - that is just fantastic. It's easy to compliment the guitar/bass/drums, but you gotta give that lead singer some love for his control of the mic!
