I can't decide on a top pop for my t6.1. I have not had one for years done fine with out at the moment but I worry they may be to cold in the winter even with the diesel heater
@@marinejunkies9625 if you are still converting it, then I would try and go with a scenic cover. They are a little more expensive, but so much more versatile. M
Storm Straps on the awning a must..doesn't matter what the weather I've seen the damage after one went over a van in Summer...Was double pegged down but still a gust took it. Cheap as chips too. Kampa ones are good for the Fiamma £17.
Really well said. You are absolutely spot on. Get comfortable with the uncomfortable ... It's.scary putting yourself out there but you sound more and more natural in every video so you are doing something right. Well done and keep up the excellent work.
That was crap! LOL! I jest. I am in a similar situation. I have a rudimentary script and always forget part of it. You performed an impressive and enviably long monologue, there, without screwing up. I hide the camera when other people are around. But I’m getting better (I think?). I still use iMovie which I find is more than sufficient for me. My challenge is to walk a different neighbourhood of my city every week until I’ve done all 200+!
@@garethpetley6715 thanks Gareth, much appreciated. While that was difficult to do and say to camera, the amount of support has been overwhelming. Thanks for the Sub!
I can never understand why vans are fitted with underslung water tanks. You always have to take the van to fill up, whereas with jerry can type storage, you only have to take the container to fill up ? Rib beds give you more storage accessibility and ease of use than rock n' roll beds.
@@stevezodiac491 Hi Steve, I would agree with the use of Jerry cans, but where the under slung tanks come in handy is when you are away for longer periods of time. I don’t use the van water for drinking, it’s mainly for washing up. RIB beds are certainly the way to go and they are also much more comfortable to sleep on.
Lovely van….its Mint! Love the alloys and the silver paint…..once u get the hang of it, embrace the outdoors and explore a bit more….im like you, just grab a beer after a dog walk😂🎉. I do plan a bigger day long walkies for 7 days, …..nothing I enjoy more, then a few beers at end of the day😂 Oh btw, I been doing this a while longer….. Yeah Will Adam and the two girls are fun, agree! Vantasic AdVentures is a suggestion too, they are fun, and like a beer too! Lovely couple
@@richardsracingmad Thanks Rich, of course how could I not mention AdVentures and the Pigeon. Will also have a look at Vantastic. What an amazing community. Right, it’s 17:00 - time for that beer 🍺 🤣🤣
@@Van-Ished oh u need to check her out! Cheesy thumbnails and presentation….and she’s the best at it! She lived in a Prius for 2/3 yrs, ex tourist guide, before she got a job being the queen of YT
Don’t have the gear for outside as yet, still early days. Hopefully I can get a Cadac from Father Christmas if he is listening, then I will be able to connect it to the back of the Van. Fingers crossed :-)
@GanderTravels there are always cheap deals on the cannister type gas containers as well. Cheap as chips and you don't fill you van up with cooking smells.
Like the side shades and good use of high quality pegs - got hold of some years ago when camping on the parade ground in the sea defence forts above Portsmouth - they go in anywhere!
Hi Paul, to be honest the gas has lasted so long I have not had a need to refill it as yet. I guess that I will find that out in due course. As for the mini table, I have one on order and cannot wait.
