I use an ASUS Zenbook Pro for higher complexity designs. For routine, on the couch or traveling design, I like my Surface Pro 9. If you want high end, 32gb of RAM is the easy thing to look for. 16gb will do most of what you need. i7 or i9 should be sought after. i5 can work, but I recommend against. Graphics card isn't very important for BSP these days. Mostly processor, followed by available RAM. If you plan to connect to an IOS, you'll want 32gb and a legit graphics card. Other software (eg EXOCAD or 3Shape) will have their own requirements that I don't know off hand.
You best bet is to reach out to the manufacturer and request that the collaborate with BlueSkyBio. It doesn't cost them anything. BSB just needs their libraries.
@@bgrutterdds I wonder if sales rep knows anything about it since they have never done it. Do I ask them for a digital model or STL of their brackets libraries?
You can talk to your rep, but the files have to come directly from the manufacturer. This is to avoid any sort of legal issues with incorporate files not approved by the manufacturer into blue sky bios software. Also, the files have to be oriented in such a manner so that the software engineers know how to orient them in the software.
Honestly, I don't know. It's a pain. Many thinks will create smudges. I've never tried Windex. You could try a test spot and see how it responds. Otherwise, reach out to SprintRay and ask them.
Greaat video! I see that the setting for angulating the screw channel have gone in the 3.2 cad. How can you change channel anghe for Dinamic screw for example! Many thanks
very informative video! cant believe this video is 2 years ago and i'm here still figuring out if i can print MADs. since this video is 2 years ago, any changes in your workflow? are you still using MM or shifted to exocad bite splint for example?
Only difference is on how I design the shells. I now only create posterior wax rims so that the Anterior has an opening. Ideally the patient nose breaths, but this allows for air to pass if their nasal passages are obstructed. No changes in which softwares I use.
If I imported in a part and wanted to modify one spot of said imported part while keeping the rest of it consistent (I.E. Make a petal on a flower longer than the rest), how would I do this?
That's tough. Bringing in the part and adding to or subtracting from is easy. But what you describe is much more complicated. If you isolate the petal from the rest of the flower, you could then stretch it however you wished. Possible, but not necessarily easy. Particularly if the flower was 3D.
Hmmm. I don't recall. I just click off the model and to move without activating the tool. I don't think I hold shift or anything. I'll try to remember to try it and see if there's anything special I'm doing.
@@bgrutterdds thank you! I haven't found yet a good enough product that won't make the zirkonia look like a pearl and just make it shine the same way as a glaze would (or close to it, anyways)...
In the US, BlueSkyBio has the best deal. But, in the UK I think you have to buy direct. For the rest of Europe, I don't know. Here's BSB's link. Let me know if it works for you or not. blueskybio.com/store/photogrammetry-system
Can you please present the milling of a 4 units (2 premolars, 1 pontic, 2 molars) zirconia bridge over 3 implants? I am especially interested in the emergence profile design. Thank you.
Your videos are very interesting, but please can you do a Spanish translation. because not all people understand English. thank you very much in advance
It could be interesting to have at each stage how much is the IPR left according with total IPR for that contact. Or addition from the fist stage to understand how much you have done and how much you have to strip
Thank you so much for this practical Video , l am orthodontist and l have a question, if it possible we use this program for using attachment for movement or not ? Again thank you so much
Yes, you can. I have another video on that. However, I would advise caution. I use BlueSkyPlan for my real aligner cases. The workflow in this video is really just for very very minor corrections.
I spent part of an evening trying to use Blender, Fusion 360, and Meshmixer, and found your video and this was by far the easiest method with the most satisfactory results. Thank you!
Hello I've been using bluesky software for 6months , and i was wondering if there is an option for refinement during treatment or should I consider its as a new case and pay for refinement. As most cases needs refinement during treatment. Thanks
why cant you just add the brigde then stretch it and widen and create your stand, that way, just like you imported, probaly be more part of the whole struture than just attaching, just thinking, never done it, but see it working gr8888t
