Hi! I am Asim, completed Master of Architecture in Advanced Architectural Design from Mumbai, India. Also did MBA in Finance, Mumbai. Currently running my firm ArchiCodes as solo proprietor in Nagpur, India.
The channel provides you with my works and tutorials in Grasshopper, an in-built plugin of 3D CAD software Rhinoceros.
Please feel free to provide me feedbacks and requests. Enjoy! :)
I have extruded it very slightly. I have uploaded the video in the link provided in the description where I create the script from scratch. It is free to view, you won't have to buy the course to access it :)
Hey, nice start. There were a few things that I guess weren't intuitive, but you managed to find your way out. Great job! Ctrl+Z is coming soon. DegtoRad exists but probably we need to make it easier to find. List Sequence and List Sequence SEC are equivalents of Range & Series of GH For exporting - you need to connect and export node to the geometry you want to export. So from one file you can separately export the 2D lines into DXF, and the 3D geometry using other available formats (STEP, OBJ, STL, IGES)
@@shravanabelagola I've shared it in my course. You may access it through the link given in the description. It is free to preview, you won't have to buy it to access the Pringle lecture.
Kya mast banaya Bhai 🔥🔥🔥, itna perfect and simple (dikhne me), and the way you told that circle is cut of the bigger fabric and gives the result was so amazing, I myself searched other videos but was not able to understand the same you made so easy 😂
Thank you so much brooooo! I would not have got the motivation to make this had you not asked about it! Also it is crazy how you are able to grasp all of this so rapidly! Even though you are not from an architecture background! Awesome man!!! Thank you again! I am really touched by your words bro!
would suggest you not to record while driving! India is messier! you don't know who and when people will bump into! just feedback. Do a recording in parking lot! or in Room.
@archicodes4009 Could we schedule a professional discussion regarding your Udemy course? Specifically, I'd like to explore strategies for increasing your sales by attracting genuine and engaged students who provide positive 5-star reviews. Are you available for a brief call @YAGI TEAM W.W
Thanks for sharing your techniques, it's very good information. However, can you recommend a method that would use other data sets, and not OSM. The problem we have here is that the OSM for the area we are mapping does not have all the building footprint polygons. This is very frustrating. The data containing this geometry is a different filetype and not OSM. It seems that the Grasshopper plugins mostly use OSM - which is not complete. Any suggestion would be appreciated, thanks.
Hi Andrew, thank you so much for your comment. I am really glad you found it useful! I completely understand where you are coming from, my batchmates face the same hinderance due to lack of data from OSM files. They have used Google map images and vectorized the streets, buildings and other feature using illustrator and AutoCAD. Other than this, I had come across several research papers that used the like of Machine Learning to extract land features, including buildings, from satellite imagery of Google maps. Do have a look at that it is super interesting. If you want to generate buildings and along with street networks and parcellation of land based on existing access points to the site then look at "DeCoding Spaces", a plugin in Grasshopper that does all that and a lot more! My apologies for such a delayed reply. I hope this helps you. Have a wonderful day Andrew!
Thank you so much! I'm using the Grasshopper plugin in the Rhinoceros software. Also, using the Firefly plugin to connect arduino with the Grasshopper model.
