Hello, welcome to my channel! My name is Mellie and I enjoy journaling! I think journaling is one of the best ways to keep all your memories in one place. A great way to write your life in detail because words speak more than one simple picture. I believe it is a great treasure to keep a journal because later in the years you are able to look back and see how you have been developing. You are simply capturing the moment and to be able to look back to such moment and its feelings its truly a treasure. No matter the purpose of your journal whether its a bible study journal, quotes, diary, or dream journal it stills captures your interest of the moment. I’m a leather crafter and I’m about to start designing a cover specifically for these mini composition notebooks. I’ve always loved them and handy to carry along, even more so with a leather cover. 😊

@@Melyyrose Ive been a little busy so I haven’t started on them yet. But I’ll be designing them today. My shops name is Brass Fox Leather. I’m on all social medias. I use them for note taking or to jot down an idea. I’ll be using them to journal a lot which is why I want to make leather covers for them. Make them look fancy lol! 👍🏽
In a way, we all wished our own journals would be this interesting and exciting as the one from Indiana Jones. :D What is the purpose of all the papers and maps? Are you suppose to complete the journal with the decorations?
I know right!! 😄 I think they are just supposed to be part of the journal. Just ephemera 😳 I don’t know if I should use it in other journals or just keep it as part of that journal lol 🤪
😂😂😂 it’s all about not feeling the pressure to complete them 🫶🏼 I bought the whole box because that’s the only way they were sold when I bought them so now I need to find ways to use them up 🤪 honestly I just wanted like 3 because they were so cute and I had never seen them before lol but it was only sold by the box 😳 lol so I’m just trying to use them up and have fun carrying them around ☺️✨
I like the cute ideas you have for using & decorating mini notebooks! I've kept one in my car for gas & maintenance because the receipts fade. I set my odometer to trip miles it's easier to track, so I write the total trp mileage, how many gallonsit took, price per gal, date and total cost everytime I fill up. I also keep one for grocery lists and notes. I didn't think of decorating them or dating them!😃 Thanks for sharing your ideas, I have always enjoyed your videos!💝

The little journals are cute, but if you start a lot of projects and then abandon them, then it seems that you overwhelm yourself with too many ideas. Maybe the concept of "one book for everything" would suit you better.
Yeah I’m not too overwhelmed with these mini notebooks since they are not a regular journal ☺️ but yes, I do get myself started with too many things lol..😅 I bought them because they were so cute and they were only sold by the box the time I purchased them so now I’m just trying to find ways to use them and carry them around ☺️ they are so cute to carry around but yeah now I have mini composition notebooks everywhere 😂 I would never use them as regular journals though 😳 they are so small ☺️ But I do use my regular journal for everything sometimes even for my notes when I have meetings in my job 🤪 I just write them in my private pages area of the notebook with the rest of my private thoughts ☺️😉

I absolutely love how free you are in your journals and how you just focus on how you feel which is what they should be for if ya wanna write in landscape ya do if you want to do a doodle you do ugh I'm so jealous

I would love to hear some ideas on how to incorporate these small composition books on my planner system. I am only used to using a standard size a travelers notebook or personal size. Great video! ❤

Unfortunately I was extremely allergic to him so my sister in law’s brother in law took him 😭☹️🥺 I didn’t know I was allergic to cats so we got him but after having him for some days my allergies were getting so bad 😔

I usually would say the smaller notebook, since you will be able to complete it fast and have a sense of achievement. However, if you plan on being more creative and draw a lot, the Rhodia one would offer you more space.
