Wow small world!! This was so long ago!! I'm glad you happened to stumble across it. This was a very cool match. Seeing it again really takes me back! I was like a month or so learning Zafina in T7 when we matched up. She is a bit of a shadow of her former self in T8 but I'm still rocking with her strong. She is fun in new ways I've grown used to although could use some more buffs to balance her out better. That's cool you are still playing Yoshi. He really is strong in T8. Did you see my recent match against him I uploaded? It def would be nice to match up against you again sometime though. I'm way more versed and practiced with Zafina than I ever was here in my humble beginnings with her haha. I did I hate I didn't have time to rematch for more matches at the time I but I did have to get back to work that day. I hope you didn't take it too personal at the time lol.

Thanks Bro! Yeah the wall carry from Zaf's 1 jab and df4,2 after heat burst bound gave me a wall splat I was able dash up in time to covert strong off of. It was just right amount of spacing for it!

​@@chacazulo1987 Well initially i was just testing out streaming a bit and then just sort of turned into a mix. I dont consider myself a stream ready player just yet and it felt rough at times during some live matches I had later on. I have a decent PC but dont like the lag or causing it for anyone I may face either so doing actual live gameplay streams are still up in the air unless I need to tweak more settings etc. I do have a few live matches that start around 53 min mark or so. I'll add time stamps later. To break this up some. Congrats on ranking up with Lili to Tekken King. Getting higher prowess puts you in different player brackets so you def will get stronger players more often.

@@LoneTaurus82 yea, tekken is a very tough game, my goodness. The amount of shit u gotta learn is insane. Make a character just have one stance and that’s it, ffs. I don’t mind if they simplify zaf even more, if it’s for the sake of the game being less complex i’m on board.

​​@@chacazulo1987Tekken has always been a hard and complex game to master at high levels of play. Zafina does not need more simplification haha. Its partially why she is like she is now. I don't want that for her at the extent they did to other characters. Her character design is the most unique of any character in Tekken with her stances and need to stay that way. Zafina is harder to use than some in Tekken 8 but she is mostly a defensive character rather than offensive which is why she still doesnt mesh well in this game at times. The Azazel moves are cool and give her some added aggreessive flair for heat but they ruined alot of what made her great in at her core in Tekken 7. I hope they give her some new moves, adjust some of her move frames, give her some damage buffs and consider improving her movement a bit.

@@LoneTaurus82 i don’t think she’s bad, but ppl one n done her all the time. If they get rid of her stances i won’t mind, maybe just keep scarecrow. Complex characters don’t make for a fun game, too much knowledge checking.

Hey bro I remember you! Thanks for tuning into my stream a bit and checking this match out some too. It still pains me what they have done to Zafina in Tekken 8 both in her weak role in the story mode and her overly nerfed gameplay which doesn't feel like a coincidence. It's like Harada and company really want to make this her last game or something which would be very sad. She didn't deserve any of this unfair biased treatment she has gotten. I agree that Zafina was designed to be defensive character and she still feels out of place in this fast paced offensive focused Tekken game compared to T7. She really does have trouble exerting offensive pressure against characters you mentioned. The fact they removed her B 1+2 low poke from neutral along with reducing her movement hurts her so much and she can barely defend herself at times. I hope next season they will give her some fair and proper buffs and no further nerfs.

Hey there! Thanks for watching. Yeah I'd on say here that I wasn't at my best with Zafina due to how late it was but you def have to use your brain alot when trying to adapt to certain characters on the fly with her like it was for me against this Feng. I have been going up against him more lately though. Zafina can be so easily interrupted, stepped and pressured in Tekken 8. She really does lack quick and accessible moves like many other characters outside of her jab strings. The one thing that is annoying me the most lately is many characters have all these guaranteed hit you while you are down low hitting moves and she has struggle to even get many moves she has with those qualities to connect low and hit grounded at times. Many aren't even guaranteed and will whiff if they aren't done at the right angles or only on some wakeups like 1+2, and FF3 for example. You have to be in scarecrow stance to do her power crush kick they eventually allowed her to have a better low hit box with after 1.04 patch. I still often forget that move does that because they left it nerfed for so long after day 1. Obviously her fastest low poke b1+2 being stuck in scarecrow and not neutral is still a major crippling annoyance for Zafina. At the times she really needs a fast poke as a round ender or for fast low pressure she just doesn't have that edge to her. Feng can just do the his db3 and close in like he wants at any point in neutral. I really hope next season devs will use their brains and rebalance Zafina better. Aside from mostly bug fixes and some sparse and uneven buffs It just has not been a fair deal for her compared to the rest of the cast.

Thanks for watching bro. I know you will always rock with Zafina. Nina and Ling in comparison to her do have alot more options and flexibility in their moves, setups, combos etc in Tekken 8. I'm sure it's been a unique challenge ranking them up from what I've seen in your recent vids with Nina.

That would've been a cool heat concept for Zafina. I could imagine her having a sort of guard break attack as well while having her Azazel hand out in full. I thought this was a cool addition to the Lidia swap mod the modder included for her. Must have been files in the game somewhere to allow this.

Didn't think of the first one before but I think I do like the sound of Lafina better 😄

@@MikeleKonstantyFiedorowiczIV Good question. You would have to ask the modder lol but would probably be difficult to do because they are basically swapping Lidia's model and moveset/posture to the other females and may not work well with Panda's model.
