If you're new to horse riding, there are some breeds that are best avoided due to their challenging nature. - *The Arabian*: Known for their intelligence, Arabian horses can be quite stubborn and unpredictable, making them a handful for inexperienced riders. Their sensitivity and strong will require an experienced rider who can provide clear guidance and handling. - *The Shire*: As the tallest horse breed in the world, Shires can be intimidating, especially for those with limited experience. Their massive size makes mounting and dismounting challenging, and their strength requires a skilled rider to handle them safely. Other breeds that are also considered difficult to ride include the Thoroughbred, Australian Brumbies, and Faroese, due to their high energy, wild nature, and stubbornness.
I show this in my house every night. My almost 2 year old stops what he's doing and immediately watch and calm down and go to sleep. I should specify my little boy is a great Dane mix. Horses on TV are so thrilling for him!
This is my favorite horse breed because the Friesian horse 🐎 is absolutely the most adorable, gorgeous horse whose personality is sweet , and loving . Plus they or so smart !❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’ve owned 2 MFT Geldings for the last 24 years. They changed my life forever! I put my last one down in July of this year. I lasted about 2 days without a horse in my life. I reconnected with Miller-Ranch in Scottsdale, AZ where I bought mine 24 years ago and I just acquired a 4 year old Gelding named “Amaretto”. All is right with my world again! 🤠
THIS is the one attribute I experienced that was predominant - I was next to a Clydesdale that was bred to pull a beer wagon. I was a child, and he was not hitched as of then & I could feel such a mighty & majestic PRESENCE. So that is my take away that will NEVER leave me - his AWESOME PRESENCE ❗️
I use to have horse back riding lessons on a Halflinger Horse Named Moe. He was such a smart horse to ride and could keep Him in a trot because His nickname was Slow Moe. My job was to keep Him from not missing the corner in inside the arena. I miss those days.
The country side there is gorgeous, great place to film movie shots for one of those story lines we all crave but do not see much of these days. Back to my point. I love the lemon Chesnut and to me that looks more golden than the labeled golden chesnut in my humble opinion! I absolutely love the height of those impressive creatures. So much about them i could go on about and they seem to be mild temperament but i never worked with that breed before but watching the gate of them while you were riding, they look relatively smooth steady surefooted and solid to ride. The residents there do not look so friendly tho :( ... but ty for taking us all on another fun one!
Never rode a gaited horse but would love to try one. My riding was done on quarter horses, ponies, paints, and a Morgan. They were all fun rides but some jiggle you a lot
