every try putting hockey gear in one of these? I'm a MTB racer and also a hockey coach so if this would fit skates, hockey gloaves and a helmet I could use it for both. either way nice bag!
You can't fit a full face helmet in the XL or Pro if you want to put anything else in the bag. I'm a mountain biker with a TLD A1 half shell trail helmet with visor and relatively slim Five Ten Freerider Pro shoes. It's all you can do to zip the trail helmet up in the pocket. Put a couple pairs of baggy shorts with liner, some gloves, short and long or 3/4 sleeve jerseys, a rain jacket, bottle of chamois cream in it and you're maxing the thing out. It's definitely a good way to organize, but I'm certain the helmet pocket and at least one of the clothing pockets could be much bigger. Can't put my knee pads in it most days. I like the organization, but man....the helmet thing is beyond frustrating.
My husband just purchased one for me for Mother's Day and I love it! (He ordered one too for himself ). Can't wait to travel with it and to keep my stuff organized, it will be nice to have everything in one bag rather than in many little bags. We used to keep our helmets loose and our shoes. This will be great to organize and I love the instructions on the bag of what goes where. I will probably watch this again when I go to pack it.
Awesome Customer support at work here. I am a ...umm "larger" cyclist and want to get this bag. I would have perhaps jury rigged an extension out of bag oddments I hace around here. Maybe an EXTENDER option?
Very useful video - you should add this to the videos on the product page for the bags. It would help a lot in understanding the capacity and which bag to order. And one more vote of approval for the VWs!
The bigger bag is awesome! Roomy, easy to load, easy to get kit out of, all organized...what could be better! Also, gotta love the VW's! They're my all time favorite, and the BEST!
Love the bag and have also bought a couple as gifts for friends. Also whats with the VW's? I have a buddy up here that restores VWs and builds engines for several restorer's. Are those behind you for sale?
