I've got the Squier version of this guitar! I splashed out though and got Seymour Duncan P90s put in and all new electrics just to make a kick ass guitar.
I've no idea what the heck youtube have done to that video? It certainly wasn't like that when I uploaded it & was fine for years afterwards!!! It's been compressed to oblivion by them.
I've been playing a fender duo sonic for years and recently just picked up this peavey guitar at a goodwill for 20 bucks. It sounds better than my fender! It really sings through my deluxe reverb amp. Great guitar!
love your surf dude i found you from one your first vidieos by accedent where you were playing matalica in a messy room with very bad camera set up love your surf sound i wrote one my self bit difernt but surf useing a jaguar same surf green also got a surf green mustang i built a jazz master to spec needs painting now
Clever Blues song ,always sounded different that the standard E A B thing & the pick for the C Chord in the original recording can be heard he alternate picked it ,its subtle but its there :)
You have long fingers an cant make out the chords in seq . Getting the d with the pull of but what the chords are back to d .? Is it d then g an c back to d ?
Nice . Just learning again after 18 yrs off . But my wife passed 5 months ago an drugs wont help but i hope to practice 3 hours a day , and get better than before .
I'm very sorry to hear that I hope you're doing better now. I'll keep you in my prayers 🙏 Good luck with your practice, maybe one day you can start a RU-vid channel haha
Thanks!! I was looking for a vid to let me approximate the keyboard parts without much fuss as I learn this quick before playing it at demonstrations this week, and I clicked on this by accident and it's just the thing!!!!
This was no where near like Page’s Ramble On version in It Might Get Loud. As your own interpretation it’s not bad at all but it’s half way there to his version from the movie if that
Thanks for doing this video.. I wanted to know how a Tone Zone & Air Norton would sound in a Les Paul. I've a Tokai Love Rock but the pickups should sound almost identical in my Tokai as they do in your Gibson.
Cool! Until I tried to record this, I didn't realize how many little tricks were in the song. I got the sound by plugging a guitar made out of an oil can into a Hiwatt amp! Here's the result ... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-x-jiXpS22sg.html
These guitars are great. I have had people say it feels as good as american tele's they have played. Dont know if I have a good one or if they are all up to this standard. I picked it up for $80 with swapped out pichups (not sure whats in it off hand) and coil tapped, its a HSS config (in a way I wish it were 2 single coils like the original tele but cant complain too much.
I had one of these in the tobacco burst finish back in 07. I bought it brand new at the guitar shop I was working for. They cost as much as Squier Strat at the time, and in my opinion they sounded and played better than the Squier. I wish I still had it
