Your cardboard jig for positioning your logo stamp is inspired. Really clever. Never seen anyone else make something like that. They use angle brackets and pieces of plastic. Great idea.
I see you added stitching to the pull since this video, but an outer pocket covering the stitching would add functionality and clean up the look. Unfortunately, that would add bulk. Excellent either way.
I don’t usually use only adhesive, but with this design there isn’t any pulling or stretching so it has held up perfectly over the years. You can certainly add some stitching though!
Are you a leather worker? I looked at your channel and it doesn’t look to me like you handle leather. This guy knows what he’s talking about… the glue does just fine for something like this.
@@jakefromallstate6461 And who the hell are you and why are you judging by my channel? Based on your logic, you're Rainbow Six player. Gluing looks nice but will not last as long as stitching, that's a fact.
Hmmm. Heart only for female comments. Hybrid of Little King Goods and Mascon Leather videos. Must be between 16 and 20 years old. Good. luck with this.
Nice design but looks unfinished to me! I understand this is how you want to make it and this is very nice man! But i think you can take it a bit further. Right?
I know this is an old comment but for anyone that's just now reading it... I did add a reinforcing stitch to the pull tab. Anyone who may have bought one before this change, if you ever have an issue with the tab coming loose I will fix it free of charge 👍
successfully made one! One question is this designed for like 7 cards? I only carry 4 but with this design either my leather being thinner has something to do with it or the amount of cards but they are really loose and want to fall out if i'm not careful.
That's awesome! I'd love to see it, tag me on IG @caveleatherco! There are a few things that affect how many cards it comfortably holds..the thickness of the leather and how far in from the edge you add the stitch line. Even if it's loose to start, as you carry it in your pocket it should start to mold itself a little tighter around the cards you have in it. Hope that helps!
@@CaveLeatherCo okay! I tagged you in two. The black one is the thinner leather I was talking about so I just added another stitch line to fix the loose cards issue. The crazy horse leather one everything fits quite nicely 👌
