Thanks, VERY useful information, A lot easier than trying to negotiate through the manual. I as a techy did not find the control easy to use, A good presentation,
Didn’t explain anything. My boiler doesn’t have a digital dial and the pressure gauge isn’t part of the boiler but I have one of those black circles on brass. Auto filling link or not?
Useless. I need to know how to pair the Comfort + rf key with the Comfort + ii rf thermostat. Getting the thermostat into pairing mode is easy. I'm feeling like the installer has fitted the wrong key.
Thumbs down 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 In 2023-4 we need proper explainer videos. This video did not help me to achieve my goal of working out how to re pressure my Worcester Bosch Boiler. Take a little bit more time to create a video. Slides with subtitles don't cut it anymore.
Hi @arnaldoauletta9496, we're sorry to hear this. Please give our technical team a call on 0330 123 3366 and we'll get you back up and running. Many thanks, EH
@@WorcesterBoschHeating Hi, thanks for your reply! In the meantime I solved the problem with the help of a British Gas guy who came for boiler general maintenance! Have av nice day Arnaldo
Imagine making a one minute video about something you worked on for years and two of the features you spend your limited time on are a clock and the current weather.
I have one of these auto refilling. I had an error sign with low pressure of O.5 flashing on the boiler dial. As it should be automatically topped up following a radiator release of air, i had to call out the engineer to top up and get the boiler pressure to about 1.5. He told me that when the pressure is very low the automatic top up stops working as a safety precaution to prevent an overflow. This then becomes a fault which only an engineer can put right, as you do not have any lever to add water to the system.
My boiler doesn’t appear to have the internal filling tube and nor does it have the external filling hose that I can see? Will that hose be attached to the boiler or pipes running into to the boiler?
My key was getting harder and harder to insert and remove, so much so I thought I would break something. A bit of Fairy Liquid on the 2 black O rings completely solved this problem. I thought of leaving the key in, but then the bottom cover won't go back on, and any slight drips form the boiler will go on my towels. Otherwise leave the key in, turned to the left , the unlocked padlock symbol.
Absolutely useless video we need a step by step guide, i may just be stupid but that explained nothing , explanation far to fast, you do this an this there fixed , hmmm no its not
I had to reset my TRV's multiple times to install them. What I didn't realise is that resetting them seems to be "factory reset". So when I bought the TRV's they had firmware version were all 1.81. They are all now 1.60 and I have received no updates for them in over a year. Why?
Hi @Tweed.Echidna, The connections, A and B, as long as they are the right position according to manufactures instructions, the should be no reason why you can't turn them around so the lever is on the other side. This should be installed by a qualified engineer who could advise further. Many thanks, EH
Thank you. Excellent, easy-to-follow video. One question: if the pressure goes above 1.5, almost to 2, is it a problem? Do I need to readjust it? Thank you
Hi @sbonfanti9153, The optimum pressure is Approx. 1.3-1.5 bar pressure when the central heating system is cold. This allows movement on the pressure gauge when the central heating system is being operated. When the boiler is in operation providing central heating the pressure will increase slightly as the water is heated and you will see the pressure gauge increase in pressure, when the central heating is off and the boiler is cool the pressure gauge will return back to its starting position. Having under 2 bar pressure in your pressure gauge isn't a problem, and the boiler will continue to operate normally, the pressure is just higher than we would normally advise, we would aim to achieve approx. 1.3-1.5 bar pressure shown on the pressure gauge. You do not need to readjust the pressure, if you do wish to you will need to bleed the radiators of air and some water until the pressure is at 1.3-1.5 bar. this is done when the system is cold. The link below will show you how to do this and there is a video to watch www.worcester-bosch.co.uk/support/troubleshooting/faqs/home-heating-faqs/how-to-bleed-a-radiator Hope this helps, EH
Hi, ive changed the betteries to brand new ones but my thermostat keeps coming up with the 1101 fault after a few minutes, the battery icon isnt showing as full even with new batteries
Hi @lukekennedy-zq2my You will need need to re-pair the controller after changing the batteries. If you are unsure how to repair your controls give our team a call on 0330 123 3366 and we can talk you though it. Many thanks, EH
