Thank you for this video I have a saab 9-3 2.0t 2003 that I lost the key too can I just go get a key and ignition switch from a salvage saab 9-3 and have the key fob program to the ecu???
Couple of details you missed. Use a torque wrench for bolts. Bolt tightening torque 12mm 6 LU 27’# (10x45mm) 12mm 1 Zinc 31’# (10x45mm) 4 water pump housing 13’# You didn’t pack the three metal washers that fit over the shaft correctly. There are three washers. The flat washers go on top and bottom. The wavy washer goes in the middle. You only used two washers. When placing the plastic part on the shaft you need to pull up on the shaft so the plastic piece is correctly seated. If not you will get prop chatter when shifting into idle.
I have a 3.0 scarab I wanted to 5.0 swap , could I use my existing drive with a 4 blade prop for a season ? And then swap it later down the road or could I use a v6 drive because the 5.0 is a sbc?
My OCD want to grab a rag soaked in CLR and go after those rust stains... which is completely irrelevant to the functionality of anything. The way she chugs when turning over would point to a timing thing, but she runs smooth once fired..?
