Hey man, learning to do wheelies with husky 701.. new to wheelies.. question if you can help answer..how do I know whether I reached balance point when doing wheelies ? Do you feel like weightless or tip over to the back ? Thanks much.
Any tips for popping third nooners on the 701? Second gear clutchies is a cake walk, but third wont lift anywhere near. Sitting far back and cranking the bars some. Just a rider timing issue? Nice video, cheers!
You're not appreciating the "exploring" aspect of this bike. I bet on your other bikes you're struggling to touch the ground and the want to stop and do the chore of getting off.
I love my KLX230. 60mph is just fine. I put an aftermarket Seat Concepts seat on it and can ride for hours with no problem. Also added a manual idle adjuster. It's not super fast and not gonna win any races, but it's fun to ride and will do what most people need it to.
I mean, this bike goes on 17" slicks better than the "ADV" behemoths in full knob tyres... and may i guess you were on the saddle the whole time. TY for posting this ;)
Your wanting that bike to do things its not designed for but guess what its doing fine ive had 57 bikes good thing you dont have a powerful bike you will kill yourself
Hey morgan, I have the same bike 2023 230s. Is it possible for you to pop a wheelie at all? This bike is one of my firsts, im 16 and I want to learn how to wheelie. What do you recommend?
Puts some decent dirt tires, FMF copy pipe, 28mm bars and risers and its a great little Enduro bike. Rave reveiws form everyone that rides one, but to be fair I am referring to the R model, higher ground clearance, more suspension travel etc .. very good great handling tight trail bike. I have CRF250s, KLX250's all heavily modded with YSS suspension, pipes, big bores etc and the 230R is more fun and easier t ride than any of them .. even more fun than my KTM in the Jungles here!
yes. it will wheelie in any mode or setting if you are smooth. TC will only stop wheelies if the rear tire slips and ADS keeps the rear wheel from locking up but can be weird so i like to keep it off when doing wheelies
Not all sports Bikes ride the same, they might look the same but the suspension heights (front n back are different) also the quality of the suspension itself makes a world of difference. There are other things too, type and height of foot pegs, tires used. Transmission and brake smoothness varies bike to bike. Try a higher end Honda or BMW smooth as butter, Ducati's a raw over Top Power 1st Gear-6th very lively. Sports Bikes tend to be also a second/companion bike due to the posture are not made for long rides..
That throttle slack is diabolical. I could never so casually give that kind on input on my 1k without dying. Either wheelie or crash into what's in front of me as it picks up speed soo quickly loool
Yeah get it on the highway bro 😂 that’s when it’s fun. You didn’t go over 110. Yeah 600s have no power low rpms. You should try a 1000. Good video, I disagree with a lot of what you said but I love hearing everyone’s opinions.
It's a best bike you can get for that money, it don't requires your soul and whole salary to repair, if you drop it - nothing serious happens Dyno says it's 73hp at wheel with DNA filter and straightpipe which is aprox 85hp at crank and that's insane for single cylider engine with extreme long maintenance intervals Dash has trip 1 and trip 2, it would be great if they make 3rd option as a fuel gauge like approximately how much fuel left, like VW group has on dash, just numbers and nothing else, also tacho mode so you can see revs and speed at same time, you can buy CUMPAN dash actually, but it messes up all the minimalistic design, but it's giving you all the important information like coolant temp, oil temp, rpm's and in which gear you are, it's crazy how smart this bike actually is, but it will never tell you that due to outdated dash
