Their skills don't really mesh well with them being a garrison pair since you mainly want defense and tank skills in your garrison and these seem more like dps/rally oriented. Almost like the how gor/skog seem more of the garrison pair for defense and their skills. Just what I seemed to noticed lol, guess we will see how they perform though, honestly on paper I don't think they look as good as gor/skog for the field, they don't have a lot of tank skills to them and seem pretty squishy for infantry.
I don't believe so, they don't have a lot of tank traits on them, and the reason gor/skog print merits is mainly because of all the counter attack they do. Which these infantry do not have. I feel like these commanders are going to get nuked in the field, similar to how a nika march does.
@@EziPz really bro I think they have more tanky attributes than Gor Sko but I haven’t really crunched the numbers down but it does seem like it’s lacking counter heavy
@@YTGunzCOD You're right I just looked over the skills again I misread one of danfels skills, when I made my previous comment. So I think the new infantry will be more tanky, but having no counter attack in their skills is going to rough in regards of merit performance with gor/skog. Excited to see what the testing brings with them though.
Yeah I take back what I said last videos in regards to suggesting people leave now while they can.......I enjoyed it for a long while, just moved on is all.
Oh boy, this is going to be a long comment, so apologies in advance, Gunz. But if you read it all, you are much appreciated, and it just shows again how great of a content creator you are <3 Buckle up, here we go! Communication: The devs simply aren’t listening to the community, nor are they sharing their views or plans for implementation. They either don’t provide any information or make changes without letting the community know (shadow nerfs), often doing nerfs because something is 'too F2P-friendly.' The whole dev team really should take some communication classes. A game I used to play called Last Day on Earth (a post-apocalypse survival game) did an amazing job with communication and listening to the community. Something they did quite often-and something I would love to see from these devs-is to make a yearly roadmap showing what they plan to add, what they are considering adding, and the general direction of the game's development. Listen to your community. They are your customers directly. If you don't want to add what they want then try to make some polls from time to time to see what the people/majority is thinking about, what they want to see added or removed. But most importantly, interact with them to understand their needs. Understand what lives in the community, what are the frustrations, what are the dreams and what do people genuinely enjoy. Currently the devs feel so out of touch with their player base, it’s insane. If they continue this way, they could start preparing a script for an 'apology' video cause it's just very bad... Advertisement: To put it nicely, the ads are complete garbage. Let’s be real for a second. I don’t know what the devs in China are smoking, but it must be some top-tier stuff if they think their decisions are 'great.' Like I mentioned in a previous comment, all they do is make the fakest ads they can come up with, and I don’t get why. They have an amazing game with great content, yet they don’t showcase any of it. Instead, they share bizarre ads using footage from other games to trick people into playing, which is a massive red flag right from the start. Promotional Videos: Again, to put it nicely, the devs are being super lazy. No hype videos for new commanders, no behind-the-scenes content for game development, no animated scenes for new content, heroes, or war pets. We get... nothing, really. Take the new infantry heroes, for example. The design for the treant looks very cool-just imagine if they spent an appropriate budget to have their design team work with visual artists or animators to make a cool introduction video/animation teaser. Like him emerging from a dark, shady forest, or a backstory created by actual humans (more on this in the next point). They have the resources-they’ve made a fortune from RoK. Lilith is literally a multi-billion dollar company, yet they refuse to invest in decent, even acceptable, advertising or promotional work to properly showcase their game. This is corporate greed at its finest. I believe many players, given the chance, could do a far better job with promotion. Heck, I could probably do better with my limited coding/animation skills and some background in VFX and video editing. RU-vid Content: Don’t even get me started on the content they post on their 'official' RU-vid channel. Aside from the occasional 'update video,' we get next to nothing. From what we do get, I’ve noticed that most of their YT shorts (probably 85%) are just pure garbage. Why? Most of the shorts feature outdated or completely wrong tips. To make it worse, they are usually voiced over by an irritating text-to-speech AI. The quality of these shorts is on par with their terrible advertisements, and that’s not something to be proud of. AI can be a great tool when used creatively, but relying on it to produce lazy, soulless content is just wrong. It gives the impression that Lilith-a multi-billion dollar company-simply doesn’t care to invest time or budget into making content that is interesting or entertaining for the player base. The result is quick, cheap, horrible AI-generated garbage. No offense to the social media team, but I would fire them on the spot because they clearly aren’t doing their job. Unsurprisingly, the YT shorts flop horribly. Nobody is going to say their favorite content was made by a robot, because it lacks the human emotion and creativity that resonates with people. Migration: I don’t understand the devs sometimes. It feels like their primary goal with every new feature is to extract as much money as possible. Every feature has to be monetized, which shouldn’t be the case. Introduce features with the goal of making them 'fun,' not 'how can we profit from this?' The migration price is simply too high. The idea that players either have to wait a year or spend hundreds of dollars just to migrate is insane. Imagine having to pay $400 upfront for a service, just to use it without additional costs-ridiculous. This especially hurts casual spenders more than high spenders. Migration shouldn’t be locked behind a paywall. It should be accessible with gems-not saying it should be as cheap as 5K gems, but it should be attainable for every player. Cosmetics: This could be a massive win and a potential revenue stream if done right. The devs could take inspiration from many other games that have implemented cosmetics effectively. Dead Units: With the current reward system (or lack thereof), dead units aren’t sustainable. In RoK, you can recover some of your lost troops during KvK through the rewards you get from barbs, events, and quests. The rewards system in RoK is far better than in CoD. There, it feels rewarding to participate in events. Here, you get the bare minimum, and the in-game compensation from mails is a joke. Dead units could be a sustainable system if the entire game framework supported troop recovery. Players should be able to recoup at least 90% of their troop losses. If you lose 1M troops and get 50% back, the rewards you earn over the season don’t even come close to covering the 500K troops you lost. The solution? Either reduce the percentage of dead troops, remove dead units entirely, or offer better rewards to make the game more sustainable. New Features: This is also a joke. Recently, we haven’t seen any new features in CoD that weren’t already present in RoK, or that weren’t just re-skins of existing events. A few examples: - Canyon = Tournament of Champions - Behemoth Trials = Expedition Trials - Roots of War = Ark of Osiris - Bastions = Rally/Garrison mechanics from RoK - Migration Permits (CoD) = Migration Permits (RoK) - Permadeath (CoD) = Permadeath (RoK) - Ossuary (CoD) = Valhalla (RoK) - Strongest Lord Event = Mightiest Governor Event - Wheel Event in CoD = Wheel Event in RoK - Alliance Mobilization Event (this one is as P2W in COD as in ROK) - Brink of War = Eve of the Crussade It just rubs me the wrong way when they mention they have added "New Events" but it's just the same ones that come around for the holiday occasions: - Revival Ball Machine = Regular Ball Machine - Treasure Hunt = Same event we get with holiday events - Chance Encounters = Already introduced like 2 months ago - Festival of Fortitude = 3rd time this appears - Alliance Quiz I understand that CoD is based on the fundamentals of RoK, but if you're going to bring over features, at least add the good ones. Don’t introduce features that nobody asked for (e.g., migration permits, permadeath). At this point, in the next patch, they may as well introduce crystal tech and rebrand the game as Rise of Kingdoms: Fantasy Edition. What I’m getting at is that we aren’t getting much in the way of 'new' or 'creative' content. The devs aren’t motivated to innovate-they just copy and paste from what’s already out there. But mobile games are the largest segment of the gaming industry with the widest reach, so this lack of effort is frustrating. We want new, interactive events, more PvE content, maybe a procedurally generated dungeon crawler or more PvP content-anything to make the game feel less repetitive and stale. Just make the game feel worth our investment, please. Like someone else mentioned in here - what is the thing that keeps us playing? Mostly the 'sunk cost fallacy'. Let's face it, many people have invested a decent amount if not a ton of money in the game to the point we don't wanna quit due to those investments. Some even know it would be better for them financially, emotionally, mentally/physically... but yet here we are still. I'm gonna admit I love this game and I have put a considerable amount of money into the game. Sometimes I'm very close to quitting cause of all the bullsh*t that's happening. I've decided to quit spending all-togheter for some time now, when my current dragon tickets are gone so is the spending until the game is in a better state cause that's clearly not the case right now. Right now it's just an 'okayish' game at best with a high cost of maintenance to play - yet we still play it - even tho there are genuinely more enjoyable and less spending heavy games out there which outclass Call of Dragons by a landslide. These are just some of the points of frustration-I won’t share them all, or I’d be writing an entire Word doc. Thanks for taking the time to read all of this, and have an amazing day <3 ~ Jon
Have you considered that dev are trying to make us to play less to have an more balanced live ? 😂 it gets to the point where 2-3 hrs of game get me several millions troops in hospital , max out infantry melts like ice cream, the allinace I was in have been disbanded , the alliance I choose turn out to be 90% inactive, I was the only one that show up to defend gate 4 in season T1, I migrate and within few days things were not right and the alliance is 60% inactive that I am now in, or even more , because now I play a little after work and I am top 20 merits , I am main archery and infantry , we got the new archery hero’s they are forgotten somewhere down there, I stop spending like before and play less , s1-s2 was rly fun often played 2days straight war , for 1-2hrs fun after work don’t need everything max out , tomorrow gate 4 opens probably a mess and then wait a month to finish this season another month in home realm , I don’t want to spend again to end up for the third time in some bad alliance , the game becomes to hostile, everything is cut off , soon we will receive 1 shards/10 to make a silver key 😂😂 and heal 1 leg soldier/h
This game hurting both f2p and spenders, they nerfed free healing and then they introduced many ways to kill your troops. So I don’t know what is the direction with developers anymore. So many things so bad and easily can be fixed, even merits store you can’t buy more useful items, imagine you can select the desired war pet skills, more elixir to buy more rss so you can keep up fighting and enjoying the game. Age of empires around the corners and I’m sure they will keep losing a lot if they didn’t fix things, they are super slow on developing. Thanks for stepping up gunz ❤
For open field that new inf artifact looks bad. Maybe for new hero pair as garrison it has its purpose, but being squishy in open field will lead to overall less damage dealt, since they will just mealt.
THIS IS A SCAM APP GOOGLE ACCEPTS FOR PROFIT SHARES. THIS APP WILL SELL YOUR PRIVATE INFORMATION. CCPA VIOLATION FEES ARE DIRT CHEAP COMPARED TO THE AD REVENUE. Farlight and Chinese CEO Kenny Wang brings in triple digit MILLIONS annually with his 17 other apps similar to this. They are greedy and DON'T CARE. Leeching off the world as much as they can before being held responsible.
Don’t have time to read all the comments. But… if this like other games top 5 percent of spenders contribute 95 percent of revenue. Last game I played(LSS) the ONLY thing that caused developers to make any changes was a complete boycott of spending by everyone in all the top kingdoms. After 2-3 days. The developers will make some changes. Not all but some. No sense complaining if the spenders keep funding the program. Guns, your alliance spends more than entire kingdoms. Maybe several or dozens of kingdoms put together. Get your friends on board. Cut the revenue off.
Thanks for the vídeo Gay na, but sadly, It's worthless trying to enlight such Petty devs that's why so many are leaving qnd playing without survival and alike. For instance, migration jeans playing with whom you want to play, só It shouldn't be even taxed, but ok, 5k gems was nice enough and should allow migrating every KvK ending. There should be no troops death, 100% should returr after KvK So on...
