Hi I know this is 6 years old but worth a try, my electric went off the other day, rebooted, network is there and working but I can’t access any of the devices via the app, says site offline. ? I’m sure it must be easier than re setting up the site ?

Hi Brennan, I've searched everywhere, but I can't find a way to add any link to "THE" terms and conditions of my client. I even tried to add a simple HTML link to their website T&C. It works in the preview, but after I save it, it comes back to the standard text. Is this even possible? Or T&C for this splash screen are just a couple of policies to be written in there and that's it?
Hi, can you show how I can configure the employee wifi to be able access my internal network resources while for guest it can only browse internet (guest should not be able access my internal). Appreciate if you can show. Thanks
So I'm living in a condo with this shared network from UCSB, I'm using this aruba router I want to change my channel since everyone is sharing channel 6 so it gets super laggy Is that doable as a user? Is there a standard router login for it?
Upgrade firmware following this and everything will work fine. Too bad this was not so easy to be found. Dear developers, please make this instruction appear automatically, or at least put it to downloads on the device download area. I spent 2 days to figure this out. Now the device works fine. techlibrary.hpe.com/OfficeConnect/#firmwareProcedure
Thank you very much. I've just got a second-hand 205H for my home use. This is my first enterprise AP I have. Set up is not that difficult. I connect it to my pfSense, with one main network, one iot (VLAN) network, and a guest network. I'm not sure it can handle around 20+ devices (2/3 on 2.4Ghz, and 1/3 on 5Ghz AC). I'm currently running dd-wrt on Archer C9 as my main access point; and 205H will be my backup in case Archer C9 break down.
Hey there! It's actually pretty simple; give TAC a call and have them connect you with the Activate team. Make sure you've unsubscribed the 303H from Central and if it won't come up after that on it's own cluster, ask TAC to have the Activate team remove the Central rule, or, have them give you Activate credentials so you can log in yourself to do it (it's free!)
Unfortunately, because of Chrome's recent updates, they've made it hard to without a separate certificate set up Other browsers should work in the interim but getting a Certficiate will make sure that doesn't happen
Yes but it's not intended to be so that ability is not advertised. If you know the IP address the OC20 is pulling, just put that in your browser bar and login :)
Hi, Brennan, it was nicely briefed on basic config. Could you pls tell me Configuration from start for setting up access point with VLAN. If I have My Firewall is working as DHCP Firwall Ip's added in Ip Helper-Address of my Aruba 5400R VLAN where I am connecting one of the port to Aruba APIN0335 WiFi access point. I am using A1 port of VLAN 1200 to connect my AP. On default DHCP IP at Aruba Wifi AP (Master IP) ; Internet is not working untill I am setting up Static IP, DNS, GATEWAY, DNS on Access point and using Default Virtual Controller IP assignment it works. No where I have used VLAN ID of my Aruba Switch 5400R inside Aruba APIN0335 Access point for IP assignment. Pls help Running config my Aruba 5400R is mentioned here below- Running configuration: ; J9850A Configuration Editor; Created on release #KB.16.02.0013 ; Ver #0e:01.b3.ff.7c.5f.fc.7b.ff.ff.fc.ff.ff.3f.ef:cb hostname "GroundFloor_Backoffice" module A type j9986a module B type j9990a module C type j9987a module D type j9986a module E type j9986a module F type j9987a trunk B21-B22 trk9 lacp ip routing snmp-server community "public" unrestricted oobm ip address dhcp-bootp exit vlan 1 name "DEFAULT_VLAN" no untagged A1-A24,B1-B20,E23,F1 untagged B23-B24,C1-C24,D1-D24,E1-E22,E24,F2-F24,Trk9 ip address dhcp-bootp exit vlan 10 name "MNG" untagged F1 tagged Trk9 ip address 192.168.32.9 255.255.255.0 exit vlan 1200 name "Internetfor_wireless" tagged A1-A6,Trk9 ip address dhcp-bootp ip helper-address 10.5.100.1 exit vlan 1201 name "WirelessController_Traffic" untagged A1-A6,E23 tagged Trk9 no ip address ip helper-address 172.16.0.254 exit vlan 1301 name "Back_office" untagged A7-A24,B1-B20 tagged Trk9 no ip address ip helper-address 172.16.0.254 exit spanning-tree spanning-tree Trk9 priority 4 no tftp server no autorun no dhcp config-file-update no dhcp image-file-update password manager password operator GroundFloor_Backoffice#
hmmm, at a quick glance I'm not sure what's causing the hiccup - that said, I know this reply is SUPER late - did you find an answer via Airheads or TAC?
In the same boat, more or less. Can not get HP AP to work on a VLAN where it would fetch IP from another DHCP source. Been fighting this for 4 hours now, I wish that they in charge would have went with Ruckus or another brand and not this PoS. Configuration is counterintuitive, seems to me they have tried to reinvent the wheel at many places.
You know if there is a way to log in locally to change setting like in the aruba aps...i believe the office connect has enable broadcast filtering and is causing some issue for me
Hi there! Technically, yes you can access the interface but the configuration capabilities are comparable even in the web-interface (so no CLI access - just web GUI) - haven't run into the broadcast filtering issue before and can't find any Airheads entries around it either; may want to give TAC a call to get confirmation one way or the other!
