Possibly pull the turn signal lever "out" away from the steering column. That's how many big trucks are (used to be). Pull it as if you're trying to pull the lever out of the column. Not up, or down, not forward or back. Out.

Thank you , Hector I appreciated the hug. I have very happy memories of my year in Arica in 69! In fact I married a Chilean girl that nov. we returned to UK and lived in the Cotswolds near Oxford. In 73 I saw hard times on the horizon, for the British car industry , we had 3 children here in Adelaide . It is like a big Arica of one million people. We simply sold house and all else except a 1948 Morris which I sent to Australia. We followed closely after to what is a paradise called Australia. Interestingly Adelaide since 1948 has produced holdens in Adelaide I saw several holdens in Santiago in 69 . And 79. During my time in Arica with chief designer of reinforced vehicles. Sydney Horwood we wrote a production manual on the mini coopers we were producing. I also took all the photos of every stage of production and the factory. When we returned to the UK we had 4 manuals printed and bound. Only 2 survive. Sydney's family have one. I have the other. Martin.
