its amazing how one can post a video to youtube, but not watch a video to learn how to do something. you're supposed to shorten your rails by a foot along the way to avoid the obvious screw up as seen at 5:45.
Look at the cap where you put oil in the engine. It clearly says 5w30. This is a very trouble prone engine. It must have frequent oil changes, as in twice as often as the manufacturer recommends. They give extended oil change intervals as a means of fooling customers in to thinking it will be a cheap on maintenance vehicle. Unfortunately, that turbo really cooks the oil and eventually one of the common problems with this engine is a clogged engine to turbo oil line. so, change your oil when the oil life monitor is at 50 per cent. We have three vehicles with this engine in the family. We have experienced many problems, and I am just trying to help you. 2015 Cruze 2017 Sonic, and a 2021 Trax. Other problems have been cracked cooling system components. Parts that were at one time aluminum and are now plastic and engine heat over time makes those parts brittle and then they crack leading to cooling system leaks that leave you alongside of the road with an overheated engine.
Thank you for the video i couldnt find the oil filter i've never replaced one like this always older vehicles and i want to confirm this works for a 2021 chevy trax
Thanks for the video, my gauge is acting funny, so I’ll try this. Found it on Amazon for 22$. Thanks Brother! Very helpful! I’ve got 2012 Chevy Silverado 3500hd duramax 6.6 God bless
I am trying to attempt to do my own oil change never done it before 😬 so I’m watching how to videos but on another video it said something about torque for the bolt underneath the car can you explain
Very nice looking fence Jacob. In the future your diagonal bracing should be starting on the bottom hinge side and the top side latch side. Your gates bracing is framed opposite. Good work though
I was wondering the same thing. Oil cap even specifies 5w30 on this model. In cold weather you would possibly want a lower viscosity but not higher (unless the engine is worn).
I really appreciate your video as you said there are no videos on high oil pressure I have an 05 envoy Xl it’s sitting right now at 40 on the oil gauge with the truck turned off when I start it it goes all the way to 80
I think my wife's starters bad because it just clicks, but I can still jump start it with my truck by connecting to the cruze battery. Does this sound like its a starter or would I not be able to jump it if it was the starter? Thanks
I am so sorry I just saw this message I don't know why I didn't get notified about it, 😔 but glad u figured it out! But no anytime a vehicle still jumps starts another one it means the starter is still good and something else is wrong. I'm glad it was just a battery it's a lot easier to replace than the starter lol.
