Not only if this animation hypothetical, its complete bullshit. I'm an actual meteorologist and I only watched until the named storm Gordon came onto the screen because thats when it completely jumped the shark. First of all, you had several hurricanes meander near where they make the turn across the sub tropical jet and while this CAN happen, it isn't all that common. The tradewinds below the Tropic of Cancer blow to the southeast, but the trade winds above the Tropic of Cancer blow to the northeast. This is why you see storms turn and take off like they were shot out of a cannon in most cases. Second, you had a named storm strengthen from a tropical depression to a category 4 hurricane in less than a day while travelling from the Bahamas to the Florida coast. It'll never happen. The water isn't warm enough and the low pressure center would never deepen quick enough to support it. The storm just literally would need more time to spin up and collect mass, even if the low could deepen that fast. The final straw was a baroclinic low pressure coming off of the east coast and becoming a hurricane. Not physically possible. Baroclinic low systems stack up into the atmosphere with corresponding lows above and behind them at all levels. A hurricane is a baroTROPIC low which is vertically stacked with a low on the surface and a high in the upper atmosphere. They cannot switch between types of lows. Ever. EVER. I know this is just hypothetical and just for fun, but if it is going to be completely impossible, I don't see much point.

Every year, hurricane season is hyped up. And every year, it ends up a bust with one or two storms reaching at most CAT 4. And they end up being fish storms.
