Thomas the Tank Engine Series was one of my oldest childhood memories and since then I love both the models and the CGI. It's a shame that the CGI Thomas and Friends series has coming to the end because I would to see continuing visiting other countries a bit more as he hasn't have a chance to visit American, Germany, France, Mexico, Berlin, and Japan as well as meeting the other engines featuring in "Thomas and Friends The Great Race" like Vinnie, Frieda, Axel, Ivan, Etienne and Carlos. But sadly it's not going to happen now no thanks to Mattel.
Actually, the “Series 25” you shown us is actually the first series of a completely different show to the original. I think it would have made sense if you put “SERIES 1 (AEG)-PRESENT (2021-PRESENT)” instead.
The fact there's a video of a Series 25 Trailer showing AEG makes me think this is a continuation of the main series and BWBA ain't considered it's own show so I'm going off what I understand.
@@Quinnifer Well that was AEG’s plan all along, but due to the original series ending, Mattel confirmed it to be separate from the original. And I bet you were referring to that trailer that got leaked in January 2021, weren’t you?
It's not so much the quantity but the sheer I'd-rather-put-a-gun-to-my-head quality of the ads themselves on YT. I'd have no problem with pause ads, but RU-vid (mobile _or_ desktop) is gonna raise my blood pressure every time I use it, I'm always gonna find it easier to justify putting in the effort to have a working adblocker. Those fucking mobile game ads though... I can't. I just... _cannot..._ 😑
Brave Browser has been pretty much 100% successful at blocking ads on RU-vid, there's only been brief periods where they've broken through but it's taken a day or two for the dev team to patch. It's a pretty intensive, chromium-based browser, but the basic security features are very nice. You can use additional addons for more protection if you want, to fully customise your protection.
I watch RU-vid on my iPad and phone sometimes. And recently I've noticed the ads no longer show a skip button at all. It will appear for certain ads after a bit. But it makes it look exactly like an unskipable one. I'm sick of ads. And have been for so many years. I think I've been using an adblocker for well over a decade now on my computers. First thing I always install. It was one thing in the 2000's. Or early 2010's. But now it is to such an extreme extent that I will never disable my blockers. I will find ways around it no matter what. Even other apps are getting so bad I am debating dropping them. Such as tiktok, every 2nd to 3rd video now is an ad. Either a sponsor or creator making commission. No thanks. Literally no. Even fords new patent. NO! If only these companies could wake up and realize chasing infinite growth cannot be sustainable.
I can't use my phone to watch videos while I do dishes anymore, because I get 2 30 minute ads in a row within 1 minute of watching most things. if they think this is somehow going to inspire me to spend money I don't have on youtube premium they're crazy. now this? lmao. ok youtube, good luck with that
If they sorted their crappy ads out, and stopped shoving scam financial gurus, predatory mobile games and other over priced crap. Then I wouldn't be bothered by adverts. I have no issues with ads, I just detest having to see the internets version of junk mail.
I've been annoyed by people praising how they don't see any ads on RU-vid, because they're using the Brave browser. Well, I joined their ranks 2 days ago.
@@Quinnifer Premium will remain "ad-free" until RU-vid does what other streaming services have realized they can do and just put ads on Premium anyway, then charge even more for an even higher "Ultra" tier or something to _actually_ get rid of ads. Pay someone to solve a problem THEY created, and it'll never actually get solved. As long as they keep getting paid for causing it, why would they ever stop?
I have noticed also, that the "skip" button doesnt work on all ads - you can tap it as much as you want, but the ad will play til nearly the end before skipping. DIrty pool.
RU-vid wants to turn into Netflix and they are punishing users that don't either want to or can or can't afford premium, I know a way around it but i am not going to leak it publicly, but the ads are very annoying for sure.
