commenting halfway but i totally felt seen when you mentioned the circle cutter 🫣 really really wanting to get an item but only using it a few times sometimes barely even using it haha thanks for showing us your studio! 🤍
Hahaha we all have those items, don't we? For me, some I bought after much deliberation, some were just out of curiosity and on a whim. But such is life! :)
Hi there! How are you? 😊 To share with you, I am starting to read I Want to Die But I Want to Eat Tteokbokki. I am really not into reading but based on the reviews that I have seen online, it seems really interesting that I started reading it. I hope that I could also read continuously because it's kinda challenging for me to find a hobby that will interest me for a long time 😭🤣 Hoping this is a good start! Happy ARMY day too!! Keep safe!! 💜✨
Hi! Happy belated ARMY day! I haven’t read that book yet, but of course have heard of it before. I’m actually the same when it comes to hobbies- I flit in and out but I don’t stick with one for too long. I think that’s okay, whatever makes us happy, right? 💜 Wishing you well!
Such a lovely wrap-up for your month! Thanks for pointing out the Lady Sherlock series, love everything Sherlock-y but haven't heard of this one yet. Oh, loved Project Hail Mary! So cool, and the ending! Whoa, right?😂
So glad you caught that because I’ve been meaning to message you about this series. I think you’ll like it. (I didn’t love the “mystery” reveal aspect of the first one, but keep reading!) I just finished the newest book that’s out and now I’m in mourning!! I can’t wait to reread the series
@@AWonderfulSheep I'm still busy with the Throne of Glass series (waiting for the 4th book) so it might take a while until I can start with the Lady Sherlock but it's on the list now 😉
Just found your channel through this video and ahhh it seems like we have similar interests! Reading, journalling, and ARMY!!!💜 will have to binge all your videos now hehe have a great day! ☺️
So many reads! i dont really read romcom but i might give mhairi mcfarlane a try later🤔 i only have 1 read this June, it's Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop. A slow but nice read. picked it up bcs the author is visiting my local bookshop and i actually really enjoyed it.
Oooh so yeah Mhairi McFarlane is closer to women's fic or lit fic I think. The way she writes emotions and relationships is unlike any other contemporary writer I've read yet. Ooh I've been meaning to read that book for ages! I wanted to read it in Korean but have been putting it off. So cool you'll get to meet the author!
Oooh, the lady sherlock series piqued my interest! I love watching/reading any sherlock holmes spinoff/remakes/iterations haha i might just give that a try, thanks for sharing 😊
Yay I hope you like it. Fair warning, I didn't love the first book as much, but they get better as the series goes on. I also liked the Sherlock Holmes stories when I was younger so it was fun to revisit the stories this time :)
Loved hearing about your Festa experience! I already told you but I'm happy you were there 💜 He's adorable! It was his first time singing The Astronaut Live in Korea, right? such a special moment
Thank you, I still can't believe I got to welcome him back! And yes, he didn't do any Korean promotions for Astronaut, so that song was extra emotional 😭😭💜
I did Amy Tan in american lit class! I think we did the joy luck club. I remember enjoying it. the mother-daughter dynamics are quite relatable. Im getting all these book rec from you and i havent even finisher city of brass yet 😂
Yes! I also remember reading The Joy Luck Club in high school, it's the only book about Asian characters I remember reading for class. Hehe I hope you enjoy City of Brass. Other favs from this year I recommend are The Fox Wife and The Ministry of Time 📚💜
Aww - watching your vid was the perfect antidote to that cleaning day of mine today 😂🥰 Hehe, if you hadn't already recommended The Ministry of time to me and if i hadnt put it on the tbr, that quote - your germs are showing - would have done it, totally cracked me up 😂😂 like your idea of a daily reading journal with jotting down your thoughts etc 📚
Yes there were several moments like that scene that made me laugh. I heard some describe the book as confusing and hard to get into, but I was hooked from the beginning. Do let me know if you read it :)
I would like to ask, i know im late for this because i just got mine recently from restock 3rd time. Is it has to keep charging the plug for all the time to keep it on?🥹
Hi there, a little tired (Bangbangcon😅) but….I had to rewind to make sure I heard you correctly. Lisa Kleypas? She is one of my favorites! I don’t read as much I used to but still one of my favorite things to do. I enjoy mystery/thriller genre the most but Lisa Kleypas is an automatic must read.
Haha yes you heard right! Lisa Kleypas is my favorite historical romance author, and the Ravenels is my favorite series of hers. So fun to meet a fellow fan :) I hope she publishes again. Do you have a favorite of hers? And any recs for mysteries and thrillers?
@@AWonderfulSheep I’ve read the Wallflower series, the Hathaways series, and yes the Ravenels. I like them all. Surprisingly, one of my favorites is a side story of the Wallflower series called Wallflower Christmas. I’m a little nervous to recommend books to you since you’re such a voracious reader. I tend to stick with authors I like when I find them. Michael Connelly, Harlan Coben, Robert Dugoni, and JD Robb (aka Nora Roberts) are some of my faves.
@@AKBangtan Oh yes, I remember the Wallflower Christmas novella. It was a nice addition to the series, and I do love a holiday story. And since I mostly read romance, I don’t know much about other genres so I would love to broaden my reading. I hadn’t heard of any of the authors you mentioned so thank you so much! Adding to my ‘to check out’ list :) And I have heard of Nora Roberts as a romance writer, did not know she had another pen name! What a prolific writer!
Oooh i see the washi samples you made are getting good use 👏 do you usually to annotate/mark up the book you’re reading or jot them down instead? you mentioned a couple quotes from the books you read. idk, was just curious lol bec i have a running list of quotes in my notes app and just thought if other people do this too
Yesss! It's been so much easier to set the stack of washi sample cards on my desk when I start journaling! Thank you for noticing! Hehe As for quotes, 90% of the time I read on my Kindle (books borrowed through Libby) so I have the highlights saved on my account. After I finish a book or when I'm book journaling, I will go through what I highlighted to refresh my memory on what takeaways I had from it! For physical books I will try to type up any good quotes from any bookmarks too- but that extra step makes it more effort to keep up. I think it'd be good to have kindle quotes also synced on a notes app too, but haven't figured out a good system for it yet. I see all the aesthetic annotating content on IG and it seems fun, I just literally don't buy many books so don't have any to mark up lol. Do you read mostly physical? And do you annotate?
@@AWonderfulSheep oh i’m not really a reader 😆 but i still love watching your videos about them. I’m living vicariously through you lol when I did use to read more, it was mostly physical books and honestly take me ages to go through it cause I would pause and stop a lot analyzing and annotating 😆
OMG, what an honor to be on the vlog. Watching this made me so happy! We had fun and created beautiful memories, like finding nature's air-con haha. Thank you again! My time in Seoul wouldn't have been the same without meeting you, friend 💜 P.D: min 6:40 the gasp at the sight of Suga lmao
Yay I'm glad I got some snippets of our adventures! It was really fun becoming a tourist in my city with you. And yes, our collective gasp at Yoongi's beauty 😍😅
Thank you so much for doing this! It’s not in my budget to buy it myself but I was so curious about it. I really liked your vibe when you did this, thank you!
It's actually a mini food scale from Daiso, and was only 5000 won, which is about 3 bucks? It works great since the Post Office also checks weight in grams here. Maybe check Dollar stores or online for similar, very basic food/kitchen scales - that might be cheaper?
omg i felt the same way when I first stumbled upon washi tapes. Like who in their right mind would ever buy these 🤣😅 but now I use them quite a bit because it’s so easy to decorate a page with them. loved seeing your collection! 💜
Your washi tape collection is gorg 🤩 I remember the first time I came across washi tape, was when I was really into watching planner youtubers, waaaay back in the day. They used washi tape to decorate their upcoming week. I then fell off that band wagaon and rediscovered washi tape through the k-pop community. Now I'm hooked again 😆🥰
Hehe loved hearing your washi story 😄 It is an on-again off-again relationship for me too. Currently, I'm just trying to appreciate beautiful washi designs from afar (ahem no more buying for now!) while using up my own collection. It really was a walk down memory lane as I remembered when, where and why I bought some of these rolls.💕
I'm half way the Throne of glass book. I was scared to start because I heard many people saying the first two books are boring but I'm actually really enjoying it!! I have a loooong way still to the last one tho hahaha Loved your cover page for march!! So pretty ☘️❤️
Hehe yay TOG. Glad you are enjoying it so far. Have you read ACOTAR too? And thank you! I just went with a plain cover but I thinj the sticker ties it together☘️💕
yay for keeping up on your reading journal 🎉 it’s interesting to see how it evolves depending on how busy we are and energy level haha also, that fairy animation you were describing reminds me of ‘Sky Dancers’ which was out in the 90s. Might not be what you were talking about but it just sounded like it 😆
Ok I hadn’t heard of that show before but just looked it up and why do I want to watch it/wish there was a book version of it?? Haha maybe someday! Thank you for the encouragement on the journal - I fell into a bit of a journaling slump in Feb / March, but doing that review spread for March reading got me over the dread of the blank page! Hoping your journaling practice is serving you as well! 💜
@@AWonderfulSheep i feel that. March was a really busy month for me 😅 and didn’t get to log every day right away. But what worked for me is keeping up with it digitally and then backlogging as time permits. So far i’m up to date and it’s satisfying to see my journal filled up 🤍
Thank you for posting this - I’ve been looking for this clip for so long ! I was on the big screen during Namjoon’s endment and I almost forget it was real - thank you for sharing ❤
