nice fighting. why did you cut out the moment when your character died? a necrosis projectile went through the wall of the room where the billiard was kept and it died, right? it interested me 🤩
The game keeps crashing on some important moments, forcing me to restart everything. Hours of playing wasted, really hurts. Are the devs aware of this? Are they saying something? The crashing is so apparent and so unavoidable. Edit: I found a working solution, at least for me. Simply exit to main menu every time your game saves. It's tedious as shit but so far it completely got rid of crashing (not counting some dream sequences)
I'm assuming that since this is a hotfix it only really applies to when you play with an internet connection? I'm on Xbox so I'm f this update wasnt dropped for that platform I suppose it doesn't matter anyways.
Christ... They uhh... They really screwed it up. I don't have internet right now and my games don't auto update so I'm perfectly okay... That sucks though.
I'm happy this games being updated but if it's breaking the game I might want to steer clear... I can't imagine what they'd be fixing. I have beaten this game 3 times on various difficulties and I don't think I encountered a single game breaking bug. If they're adding/changing how to craft items or how enemy spawns and AI work or something that's pretty awesome... I just hope a patch comes out with the changes they wanted to make that doesn't break things.
@@Thecardiaz after the glitch, it also crashes when you beat the dream chase sequence with the doctor, so when you wake up, the doctor is already gone. So im stuck in chapter 1.
From the point I got up to the village for the first time my game began crashing. There doesn’t seem to be any consistency with when it crashes. Just that ever since patch 1.08 crashing is a given on the PS4/5 :(
An update just came out today. 1.10 ..before I would start up my game and it would crash after about one minute. Now after the update it doesn't crash anymore. Im playing on ps4 BTW. So yeah, I tested it for about 10/15 minutes and it seems all good now. Plus the patch notes said (crash fix) .. I'll probably just start a new game now. Lol
I’m having the same issue only way earlier in the game. Doesn’t seem to matter what part you’re up to. Crashing has been an inevitability after this patch. Really hope they fix it again. This blows.

Was this glitch only do-able during Patch 1.07? The items were infinite in the workbench no matter if you took the items out of it, that is no longer the case with the hotfix (Patch 1.08) . if that is what your asking.
@@Thecardiaz Actually, no!😅 I didn't know about that glitch, but long ago I found this one: if you have the necessary materials for crafting anything, you can discard (lay on the ground) one of those materials, but even if the icon becomes red, the item can be still crafted! It won't work if you try to discard more than one material, though. It can be done with or without the bench. You can use this glitch for tools that require only one material too (lockpicks, for example), and sell them for infinite money. You don't have to believe me, but if this glitch works on other ps4s other than mine, than that's great. If you can confirm me if it is still available, that would be very helpful.
Update: Patch 1.08 Hotfix just dropped today reverting most of these changes. Edit: I forgot to mention that it is possible you did not lose anything at all, if you did not open your save(s) during Patch 1.07. THOUGH im not sure if thats true. Depends on how Darkwood injects patches, whether that be when you press play or by other means.
I think people will rush nightmare for the achievements 🤣🤣🤣. But seriously if they don't restore my save files I ll ask for refund and voucher for all the lost time.
Stupid devs putting up a messed up patch like that... started the game for the first time yesterday and now bam. Wont be surprised if its not fixed for weeks...
They made an amazing game that's active since 2015, praised by nearly everyone, they make one simple mistake for one platform and you say shit like this? Grow up.

Yeah. I have this issue too. Yesterday i've played for the couple hours and got excited for the new patch. Then... Bam! Annoying panting and god mode. Yeah, you're invincible too. Enemies can't hurt you, even in night time, outside your house.
@@Thecardiaz don't worry, they'll fix it quickly. They are very active but not much is being added to darkwood now because there isn't a lot to add, they're just making sure it's still on after these seven years. I've noticed that acid wizard studio is competent and will find out about this issue and make an update, maybe even today.
