My first ever apartment/condo was in siesta key (Harbor Towers), its a wonderful place to live. Perfect pace, super relaxing, a feast for the soul, not the craziness found in Florida east coast cities, but close enough for a good night life. The once ground zero for snowbird retire'es still has some of that, but a lively enough beat to make this place one of the few gem locations in the USA.

I broke my ankle and can only walk with a cane. Are there walking paths? Is there walking path that is more stable than just sand to at least go and see sunset?
I remember visiting Sarasota, Bradenton beaches when I was in my teenage years, circa 1975. The ocean water was crystal clear blue, almost like 'pool' water, set against the pure white (sugar white) sand, it was mesmerizing. Now looking at this video and seeing green, algae ridden ocean water is disappointing....sad
